What game have you played with the worst multiplayer?

CoD:WaW.

I played CoD4 to death, and still do, but they absolutely ruined WaW in general. The only reason that game EVER gets played anymore for me is Nazi Zombies.

Why is there so much hatred for WaW. I can't really notice the difference that much multiplayer-wise.

WaW feels very off to me. Very clunky compared to CoD4.

I never understood that; a TF2 Deathmatch mode would be sweet. I don't see any reason why not because the objective modes would be unaltered.

But OT, CoD4 sometimes. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes you get paired with immense idiots, so it differs from match to match.

To address your TF2 point, on the PC version there are a myriad of options for Arena, whihc basically funtions as team deathmatch, i love it because i am best at killing, and this allows me to do so.

Crysis multiplayer was awful. At launch, there was no TDM. What game that has multiplayer doesn't have TDM at launch?!

Its also unbalanced as hell. If you join later in the game, you have to use the starting weapons while everyone else carries freeze rays, rail guns, tac nukes, but you have a crappy SMG.

Went on that yesterday, I actually had quite a fun time. It makes up for the awesome weaponry against you if you join late with stealth and super strength. You just prolly won't be able to come that high on the leaderboard. 'Such' a shame.

Half-Life 2, actually. Though the singleplayer was just about the crowning achievement of gaming, Deathmatch was the most uninspired, uninteresting, and frustrating multiplayer I've ever played. Very ittle thought put into weapon balance, the levels were just slightly modified sections of singleplayer maps, and it seemed to be played almost entirely by those that fall into the Xbox Live stereotype: Ignorant, inarticulate, homophobic prepubescent assholes who ruin the game merely with their presence. It was not Valve's crowning achievement, that's for sure. Fortunately there are so many good mods for Deathmatch that you forget the original sucked.

There is a difference between good multiplayer and Halo.

Cod4 - reasonable health, easy menus, no, one shot kill weapons, a good ranking system.
Halo - You have more health than a tank, complicated menus, a large gap between the bad weapons and the good ones, messed up ranking system that forces you to play constantly.

If you want to play halo, play UT3 same game do better balancing.

Excuse Me? Im sorry I must have misread, did you just say there are no one shot kill weapons in CoD? News to me, because I play Cod4 I got to prestige in Cod4, and I know for a fact, that there are a few one shot one kill weapons.

Also, how the hell are the menus complicated? It ain't rocket science. As for the health, its a different play style, some like it, some don't.

And the weapons are very well balanced, every one can be useful.
