I don't know about you folks, but there a some games that I find myself coming back to year after year. The original KOTOR, Planescape: Torment, and The Longest Journey are probably my biggest repeat offenders. Even though I have basically memorized every second of those games, I still get a lot of joy out of walking/spellcasting/lightsabering down those old familiar hallways.

So, am I alone in this? Do you replay games as often as some people rewatch movies? And if so, which ones?

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is the game that I have beaten the most with a total of about 6 times.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

However, I've probably replayed Sonic 2 the most simply because there was no saving so each time I had to start fresh.

Final Fantasy VIII for starters, god I loved that game.
Mass Effect 2 is another, that was good fun.
I also finished Neverwinter Nights a few times, and really got stuck into the toolset ;)

Well, at the moment I would say Marvel vs. Capcom 3. But thats because its basically the only game I've been playing for the past 5 or so days.

Got over 100,000 points, 90,000 of which is from arcade.

And I'm still not bored of it. I love this game.

I've replayed The Longest Journey around five times myself, love that game. Nice to see other fans!

But for most replayed? Probably Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2. If I were to combine the time I've spent playing those games it'd probably be some terrifyingly high number that would simultaneously make me ponder how much time I've wasted on video games while also reminiscing fondly about just how damned good that series is.

Probably Resident Evil 4. I didn't even enjoy it after doing the first 3 runs, but I kept on beating it over and over again (more than 10 runs).

Pokémon. Any of them.

I've also re-read a few of my favorite books a bunch of times, and listened to the Hobbit on audiobook probably like forty times now.

I've replayed BG2 a ton of times as well. I honestly don't believe I could ever get more enjoyment out of a side character than I got out of Jan Jansen.

I've played both Mass Effects 8 times (once as each class, plus a few for fun), Morrowind more times than I can fathom (didn't finish them all, but used alot of hours) and probably some obscure flash game when I was a kid.

Also, if you count games that are 'unbeatable', then Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress warrant a mention.

There's few games I replay, especially now-a-days, mainly due to time restraints. Game I've beaten the most probably be Brigadine for the PSX. I will usually play through it at least twice a year still to this day.

Second game, if not first, would have to be Diablo 2. Have gotten probably a dozen characters to thier 90s and have beaten the game more times than I could possibly count. A good friend and I have even made some of the most bizarre combinations of heroes to spice up the game and test our skills. If you wondered who ever played throwing ax barbs, it was us.

Third award would probably go to Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant. I played that game through several times before even moving onto something new. Not to mention going back for more with the Gold edition.

Fourth, Diablo. Even went so far as to buy the PSX version. What a huge waste of money that was!

Most recently, and maybe even fifth, Fallout 3. Beat it good, bad, and nuetral and then beat it good with expansions. Was on my expansions bad playthrough when New Vegas came out and haven't touched it since. Nor New Vegas all that much. Not sure which I will go back to first.

Personally I love that after ten years playing the series, I'm still finding new things and learning new tricks in Baldur's Gate. Indeed Baldur's Gate 2 is sort of my ideal rpg: Massive open world to explore full of interesting characters to meet and adventures to be had without sacrificing the main story in the name of freedom. Compelling narrative, memorable antagonist, an extremely solid cast, multiple ways to play through the game and multiple solutions to many problems. Just a damned amazing game all around!

Mmmm...

Rainbow Six: Raven Shield. Mindless shooting when you've got a plan, or lots of value trying to work out the best plan.

Enough useless weapons to use when you want a challenge.

The original Dead Rising. I had to get every piece of the Megaman armor damnit! In my mind, still the best game on the 360.

My number of full replays is probably tiny. It's better to ask what I sank the most hours into. I beat Final Fantasy X twice I think. I put at least 50+ hours (likely more) into my second or third playthrough trying to kill the Arena monsters, but I left it sitting.

Played Wind Waker twice, Ocarina of Time three-ish times, Metroid Prime 1-3 two or three times each, and Metroid Fusion at least three times.

Played Devil May Cry 3-4 and Ninja Gaiden 1-2 at least three times each (Normal, Hard, and Hell difficulty), and then a few times more just for kicks. DMC Bloody Palace took up at least 15 hours each as well (likely a LOT more, especially for DMC4).

I've played Wind Waker over, and over again, at least twice a year since it came out actually.

Still awesome.
