What game have you wasted the most time on?

Spider-Man 2...the movie one. I had completed it within about 3 days. Afterwards I just spent days upon weeks upon what was basically a year, swinging around New York with no real purpose...maybe giving back the odd balloon or stopping the occassional mad driver. It was fun, just swinging for no real purpose. End of the day though, probably a huge waste of time, considering they've never achieved that level of zen like web-swinging in any other spider-man game to my knowledge...

Probably the first .Hack G.U. game. I've beaten it at least six times and counting. I love all the games in the series but its the one I enjoy the most I guess.

Unlocking every weapon and maxing out every character in Dynasty Warriors. Unlocking every aircraft and getting an S rank on all missions, all difficulties on Ace Combats 4, 5, and Zero. Minecraft. Oblivion. Morrowind. Every single Pokemon game I've owned (It broke my little ten year old heart when I found out that playing for 100 hours did not, in fact, let you move the truck to get to Mew). My old phone had Bejeweled, and I have dozens of little games on my phone now. Also, there's Star Trek Online.

Battlefield 2, I have over 330 hours online playtime but i wouldn't call it wasted time since i wouldn't played it so much if i saw it as wasting time

Over 200 hours spent on Oblivion on my first character alone. Some of which was spent screwing around and finding new places to explore.

Can't wait for Skyrim. If Bethesda play their cards right, I could be seeing myself spending ANOTHER 200 hours or so into that game.

I don't consider playing games a waste of time really unless you're not playing the game.
And the game I've done the most time wasting in is San Andreas. I'll sometimes just pop it in, drive around listening to Master Sounds, and taking pot-shots at the cops.
I've played through the game a few times and I bet there are STILL streets I haven't been down.

Pokemon Emerald [340hrs total]

RuneScape [too embarrased] used to play this when I was 14-15 at school with friends.

Uncharted 2 [120hrs SinglePlayer, 105hrs MP] Played through 6 times and am 32 treasures away from Platinum then I will sell this game lol.

Star Wars Battlefront 1&2 [maybe 1000hrs] I still have that game but only play it maybe once every 3 months or so. Back then friends'd come over and we'd play nothing but Assault on Mos Eisley where you play Heroes vs Villains. I'd be Chewy and they'd be Vader as we'd play hide n seek

I think I've probably poured +550 hours into KOTOR that I replay every now and then to remind myself gaming is fun and enjoyable even though it exist a lot of shit like Other M, which is a great source of grief for me as I loved the Metroid Prime series

On a second place however I have Just Cause 2 with 330 hours according to Steam

But definitely The Sims games took up most of my teen life and my adult life too. haha. Not only that but I've been playing Left 4 Dead a lot!

Currently taking a break from it due to being very unimpressed with their new endgame. At least it'll give me time to catch up on my single player game backlog.

RuneScape. According to my in-game Adventurers' Log, I've spent a cumulative amount of time in game equal to a 45 days and 13 hours, and its still increasing 'cause I'm still playing. According to my calculator, thats... holy crap... 1093 hours! I've only been playing since July 2010!
