What game is your guilty pleasure?

A friend of mine asked me the question in the topic title today. Upon thinking about it, I decided it'd be a good question for The Escapist.

So tell me guys, what game is your guilty pleasure?

Bulletstorm I guess.

That or BFBC2.

Both Army of Two games, I'm guessing.

They don't really do anything new or anything exceptionally well. But that doesn't make me dislike them.

Rumble Roses...it's not even a good fighting/wrestling game so I can't even claim that.

My worst? Maple Story. Not even kidding. The game is a little bit above awful, but I can't help going back every now and then.

My others include Fable 3, Fire Emblem series, and Metroid: Other M.

Puzzle Quest

The game replace RPG combat mechanics with a variation on bejeweled, with hitpoints plus shortcuts and it ends up being enjoyable.
Fuck it's a casual game, but atleast it requires you to think a few moves ahead and you can play very short sessions of it.

Animal Crossing is my guiltiest of pleasures. What started as an attempt to introduce my nephew to gaming resulted in a total addiction for yours truly.

I don't think I have one. I'm pretty open with what I like and don't like. I don't see a reason to be embarrassed about it.

I mean, I probably SHOULD be sort of bashful about liking the WWE games. But I'm not because they're fucking great. Have you ever created a wrestler in those? It's like goddamn Christmas for character creation whores.

In all honesty, i think every platform game i like is a guilty pleasure, from Rayman 2 to Little big planet, mainly because most of them have very kiddie, and colourful graphics.

Good, good. My family don't know and my boyfriend and I don't speak about it.
But it's cheerful and colourful and you can get different outfits for her. Sometimes I guess I need a bit of cutesy girly cheer.

Haha, you're not alone. When I get really deep into a Final Fantasy game (or any turn-based RPG), my girlfriend will mock me a tad and then we'll pretend it didn't happen.

Still, more power to you for getting your fix somewhere

Probably viva pinata... It's actually a damn good game, but I always feel awkward while playing knowing that if a friend walks in, I'm going to be a laughing stalk. Still, worth it.

and, according to the Interbutt, Prince of Persia 3D should be too, but I don't find it to be a guilty pleasure, I genuinely love that game
