No. More. Heroes. Over 1,000 hits to kill the final boss. I wasn't able to even pick the game back up for the last 3 bosses unless I was armed with a six-pack, and audience, and my iTunes loaded up with over a hundred Rancid, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Dead Kennedies and Mars Volta tracks.

And the best part was the satire aspect of the game. On like my 50th try, when I finally nailed Bad Girl, the ending cut scene still had her wailing on me with her baseball bat even though my light saber had impaled her heart. My character passed out with exhaustion right along side me.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R:Shadow of Chernobyl. It made me start saving every 3 seconds and quitting every 12

Competitive Pokemon battles. The hax in that game is sometimes unbearable. I don't usually rage quit games though. I just yell at the TV for a bit, then proceed to beat whatever was frustrating me.

Stuntman on PS2. Dear fucking lord rage quit barely describes my feelings towards that game, and yet like maniac I always went back to it, trying again and again and again to beat one of the last levels. This has got to be my all time worst game for rage quits, but some others have come close:

Rayman - PS1
Pink and Red zones in particular. Endless deaths :(

Wild 9 - PS1
Drench mostly, and some from palace Karn. Drench was due to a really enjoying rig swing that was almost out of reach. I think the game had moods to work out if you could make it or not.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Gamecube
Any level involving Knuckles or Rouge. To be fair, I rarely quit these, but lots of rage. Also Cannon's core

Jak 2 Renegade and Jak 3 also feature, both for PS2

I only ever rage-quit once, and it wasn't because the game was hard, it was because I hated the story so much.

Seriously, your plan is to let the most evil, powerful sorceress EVER DESTROY TIME? Are you mad?!

COD4, no contest.

Martyrdom,
Lag,
Host advantage,
Martyrdom,
Glitchers and lag switchers
Bad days,
3x frag on shipment,
Random death
Martyrdom.

Oh, and did I mention Martyrdom?

*Almost* did today at several intervals during Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World; Firstly,
The fight with Brute kept fucking me over in a bad way.
After that one, I quit for the night (well, morning. I quit because I was ubertired rather than anything else)
Secondly,
The fight where you kill Alice and Decus
, which I seemed to get progressively worse at, at first. First time round, I almost won, second time round
Alice
killed me instantly (I mean, instantly; I didn't even have time to attack once). Eventually, I got there. Thirdly, when I had to
fight Richter
for the last time
at the Ginnungagap
when he's all on fire and shit, and
about to summon the demons to resurrect Aster
JOEY LAWRENCE HAIRCUT yeah. I had to do that one several times, and I got so close on one that I'd just launched the attack that would have killed him, when he suddenly heals and stabs me.

I was closest then.

Haha, mines probably Cod 4 as well, constantly being airstiked, people blowing you up after you beat them becasue they have martyrdom, people with nade launchers killing you from the other side of the map...oh and the single-mindedness of the helicopters in targeting you!

Well, actually CS:S annoys me as well because of the twitch gamers...

Counter Strike Source. Not because I was pissed about losing, but more the morons who would get pissy with me for using any sniper rifle apart from the scout. The mods even then went and banned those weapons. They're part of the game, I wasn't being a noob and over using them, I had them for 3 rounds. I hate people who are all "that's the noob weapon/character/way of doing things"... it's a fucking game!!

One of the mods even then went as far as started cheating with noclip to try and prove a point. "see I can be cheap too"... as if hacking and using a sniper rifle are as bad as each other. Tossers.

Safe to say I dont play CS much anymore. Retarded community.

Left 4 Dead sadly. There's something weird that goes on whenever I started a game. I only play with people who have mikes, so if no mates are on I choose Versus Mode>Looking For Lobby. 80% of the time it goes straight into a game instead, which causes instant rage quit. I want to know who I'm playing with first.

Probably Blood Bowl

After rolling enough 1's within the first half of a game I would gladly punch a small child in the face.

Being top of your team on Shipment when the enemy get a chopper... one of gaming's most frustrating experiences.

It flat out bullies you.

Being miraculoulsy teleported back out from behind cover to die was another fun experience in COD4.
