Timed Jumping platform puzzles with a fixed camera and you haft to start all over if you dont complete it in time. Assassins Creed 2 comes to mind.

And speaking of Rage moments in Assassins Creed 2...

The entire process it takes in order to discover the "Truth", the first ones where easy but later on some of those puzzles where like CIA code cracker hard...But I got them.
Timed jumping puzzles in AC 2 make you rage quit? You have never seen the worst candidate for that. Try DMC 4.

COD4, no contest.

Martyrdom,
Lag,
Host advantage,
Martyrdom,
Glitchers and lag switchers
Bad days,
3x frag on shipment,
Random death
Martyrdom.

Oh, and did I mention Martyrdom?
I have to agree. And I can never have the host advantage because whenever I'm the host the game always ends within two minutes.

The Wardriving level in MW2's spec op mode on veteran, dear god I just can't complete that level.
My friend and I did a Spec Ops level called (I think) Crash and Grab on veteran. Caused alot of rage and alot of adrenaline, especially when the Juggernauts started coming from behind us. We did beat it though after like 3 tries. Still can't beat Wardriving though.

Tekken 4 or any fighting game for that matter.

Also, Counter-Strike: Source. Either everyone is amazing or everyone sucks. I don't quit, technically. I just go join a surf server.

Either Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox (the Alma fight just pissed me off... and then after I beat her once, I was able to do it in one try every time afterwards) or Soul Calibur 4. That game was hard as the dickens.

TF2- I HATE quitting while someone is dominating me. In my mad quest for vengeance, 2 or 3 other people pick up dominations. Then I RAAAGGGEEEEE!

Devil May Cry 3. Oddly not because of its difficulty, but any time I got to level 14 I just got annoyed and turned off the game. I really, -really- don't like that level. Just backtracking pointless areas with stupid wall passing enemies flying around you.

I Rage Quit EVERY TIME I PLAY ANY of the Fire Emblem games. They are so fun but has that high learning curve and "25% chance of hit the one time i cant bloody afford it".

And yet I still love the games.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe - only when playing with a friend and we both argue about who is spam attacking!

Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions.

I predict it will cause me ragequits because of how ridiculously difficult the missions are.

Counter Strike. Run for 5 seconds, get headshot before you know you're in danger, wait for an eternity for the last 2 guys alive to find each other, repeat.

Or, when you actually get decent at it: Hear someone running behind you, turn around, headshot them, get banned with no warning for hacking.
This is why I quit playing CSS and went for TF2 as soon as Orange Box came around.

I like Counter-Strike in concept, but it's definitely no fun to play with the way people generally play it. :\

Well, I'm going with Counter-Strike.

Definately Left 4 Dead multiplayer. Somehow, I always managed to find the worst teams. Infected? Let's split up and charge the survivors without making any attempt to be stealthy! Survivors? Be sure to leave any wounded teammate behind! They couldn't possibly come in handy later.

The first Modern Warfare is a close second. I always seemed to be on the receiving end of a miraculous one-shot-kill with a pistol, or an across the map headshot with a sniper rifle.

I never RQ, I'm soooo good.

I quit out of fear a lot in HL2 when the manhacks came around, though :(

This is why you don't pub. 1.6 and Source aren't that sort of game.
