The Wonderful 101. It's colorful, campy, silly, challenging, and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

That game is almost like a nostalgia drug for me.
Another that's on my list. Isn't it funny how a game so drenched in sadness and depression can evoke that kind o' happiness? :p

Not like a specific Kirby game either. Pretty much anytime Kirby is on the screen I just melt. Kirby! It's Kirby! He... Kirby! Kiiirrbyyyyy!! I get nigh-on-similar results with Yoshi, and sometimes Mario games are charming enough to elicit a similar response - Super Mario 3D Land made me feel like I was 10 years old again, truly joyous - but Kirby is like a superdrug to me. It's like an injection of happiness right into my brain, my heart and... dare I say... my soul? Oh, there is truly no feeling quite like the feeling I get when playing a Kirby game.

If I had the money I would probably buy, like, a hundred Kirby plush toys and make a room of them. A Kirby room. I would sleep in there and it would be unending bliss. Kiirrrrrrbbbyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I was Zelda:OoT and Morrowind for years, but I've played both too much in the last couple years.

I'm going to have to say Crash: Warped.. If I could get a copy of Tail Concerto though...

Super Mario RPG. There's just something so fun about playing the main story of that game. Maybe it's just how different it is.

Dark Souls ...

I especially love being summoned as a Sun Bro and aiding people into battle.
This too, actually, though Ornstein and Smough are the two I love taking down. I guess it's how much grief they gave me the first time I played the game that makes me love their boss fight when I'm helping others kick their asses.

Burnout 3 and Fallout 3 make me the happiest because they throw me back in an age where we played for ourselves. Not for achievements or trophies. You know, pure fun.

Kingdom Hearts 1. I will start the game over every now and again just because of the joy I get from the Simple and Clean opening video. I don't know what it is but that video makes me feel things I don't usually experience in life much these days.

Probably Portal/Portal 2, and the Saints Row games. Purely because of the humor involved in those games.
Recently bought some DLC for SR4, and I've never laughed so hard at a game as I did at the ending of Enter The Dominatrix.

Magicka aswell, actually, nothing funnier than accidentally killing your buddy with an ill-aimed boulder. Except rezzing him, and then instantly nailing him again for shits n giggles.
It's true what they say, the only thing funnier than a pie in the face, is two pies in the face. Especially when those pies are made of boulders.

"Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feeeeeeel tonight, it's hard to let it go."

Have to agree with this. I've rekindled my love of Kingdom Hearts recently and I absolutely adore the first game.

Fat princess. It's like a mix of team fortress 2 and the elder scrolls made by an uninspired dieter. Just immature and childish fun that I have caught myself spending hours on.

Most of my favorite games lately do excel in depressing me...

I'll go with Psychonauts. One of the few games with a strong basis in humor that I genuinely enjoy. It had a charming summer atmosphere, strange yet likable characters, quirky environments, and a real heart to it.

While I'm not sure how well that series aged for me, the first game's intro hits me with all sorts of nostalgia.

I'll say the PS3 version does make it hold up fairly well, but I also own the original and it still plays fairly solid. Surprising for a game I played over 10 years ago to still be as good as when it came out.

Grandia 1, That game gave out the good feels in a major way. Playing it just felt nice. This game is incredible.
Seriously this game is my happy place :)

Journey.

There's nothing quite like dancing on the desert winds with a cloaked stranger, keeping one another aloft with an impromptu duet.

It's the game I go to when I just want to play something effortless and cheerful and beautiful.
It's strange, but that game always makes me a bit sad. A good, melancholy kind of sad, but sad nonetheless. That has some very happy moments, but it's often lonely and has some sad themes. In that way, it's a bit similar to Shadow of the Colossus for me.

Although, it could be argued that Journey makes me happy in the sense that I'm happy it's such an amazing game. :)

For a truly happy experience, I usually go for one of the Katamari or LEGO games. They are just that: happy. And silly.
