With the first half of 2014 almost over and a number of high profile releases on the horizon, I thought it would be a good time to ask this question. What games are you looking forward to that are coming in the latter half of this year?

For me the one I'm most eagerly anticipating is Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for the 3DS.

Since it's Atlus I was worried Europe/Australia wouldn't see it for years after the U.S and Japanese release. Thankfully that won't be the case, so I'm stoked!

I'm also eagerly awaiting the final two chapters of The Walking Dead Season 2, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix. So how about everyone else?

Pillars of Eternity releases then, doesn't it? That should be an interesting one to watch.

I'm interested in seeing what changes the HD versions of the Metro series have in store, but apart from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Shadow Of Mordor, neither of which I plan to buy on release day, that's about it.

I think I've been playing little of much other than Skyrim for the last three years.

EDIT: Most of the stuff I'm excited for is already in my Steam games library, to be honest.

Skyrim.

Fine, Dragon Age: Nobody expects. Probably 2 weeks of that, then Skyrim.

Dragon Age Inquisition, and only Dragon Age Inquisition.
Call me a sucker, but I am a big fan of the Dragon Age series. I have played Dragon Age: Origins over many, many times, and I am currently on my third playthough of the okay Dragon Age 2.

I only hope it lives up to the hype and trailers.
Especially if I can be a duel wielding warrior again. That was my passion in the first game. I look forward to that and many things, I have even pre-ordered and mostly paid off the Inquisitor's Edition for the PS4. Sure call me a sucker again, but this only proves I am a big fan of Dragon Age.

Maker have mercy on my wallet, for both this and the steam sale/Supanova (a convention) will kill it.

Already pre-ordered The Witcher 3 after getting a hefty discount on GOG for owning the previous games, but that game is coming in 2015, so for the second half of this year are 2 games that weren't announced on E3 but I'm very excited about, Landmark and the american version of ArcheAge, I'm a big fan of MMOs (something this site isn't familiar with).

Also No Man's Sky, but I highly doubt that game is coming this year.

Well let's see.

Persona Q
Tales of Xillia 2 (really looking forward to this one)
Dragon Age Inquisition (I've decided to have faith in Bioware one more time)
Shadows of Mordor (It looks quite good)
Far Cry 4 (3 was fucking sweet)
Theatrhythm Curtain Call
Bayonetta 2 (Can't wait)

Dragon Age: Inquisition- I may break my rule and preorder the digital deluxe version. I have some good faith in this game.
Evolved- I had zero interest for this when I first saw it, now all I want is to play it. Five playable monsters and like twenty hunters. I'm all over that. I just hope I can always be the monster.
Shadows of Mordor- My interest for this has waned and then risen again. I'll be buying it day one.
Civ: Beyond Earth- This will be pre-loaded so I can play it ASAP.
Far Cry 4- Looks like more of 3, which I loved.
Assassin's Creed: Unity and Comet- Both of these have my attention and interest.

Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U are probably my biggest games of the year. Along with Hyrule Warriors, Ruby and Sapphire Remakes and if I somehow manage to get my hands on an Xbox One(which is doubtful at this point) the Master Chief Collection, mainly for the Halo 2 remake.

The Master Chief collection of course! Even though it's a blatant cash grab I am still far too happy to see that they're all getting ported rather than just Halo 2 anniversary. I mean my only issue with it is that I'll have to play through Halo: CE before Halo 2 (which is still the best in series) because I'm like that. And Halo 4 is in it for some reason but I'll get past that.

Woo!!

Persona Q, Theatrhythm curtain call, smash bros, and new Pokemon. Even then, I'm not super hype for anything. I sorta just get stuff that catches my eyes whenever I'm interested. I just started playing Borderlands 2 for instance. 3DS stuff is the only stuff I can really get into anyway when I'm at school.

If anything, Ruby/Sapphire will actually get me to finish X/Y. and Bravely Default. and Persona 3 Portable.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax - Looks like this one rectifies all the gripes I had with the original.
Guilty Gear Xrd - Though I don't think I'll be getting this one this year. 3 ASW fighting games this year jeez.
Dragon Age: Inquisition - Even if it's another DA2/ME3 debacle, it'd be nice knowing what people are talking about when the internet blows up.
GTAV for PC - Held off on the console releases so I'm stoked for this one.
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - I'd like to play the original more but I've grown kind of tired of it. Plus those new item synergies are looking real good.

I'm also pretty excited for Bayo 2 and Smash but I don't know when I'll be getting a Wii U.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Good old heroic team of sexy people stopping the all consuming evil menace. Shallow, but tasty. Speaking of tasty...
Oddworld: New 'n Tasty - Remake of the game that turned me into the gamer I am today. Also more Abe.
Far Cry 4 - I liked the 3rd one, and this one looks like more of the same. I'm fine with that.
The Last of Us Remastered - Yeah, that's right, I'm one of those people.

Since no-one's said it. Destiny. After playing the alpha it jumped right to the top of my most anticipated list.

to bad arkham knight got delayed or that would be close second.

Is borderlands: the pre-sequel out this year? If so then that's up there too.

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 because I loves me some Hearts, Shadows of Mordor (let this game be half of what I want out of it and I'll go home happy). I like Destiny's alpha but we'll see what the whole game is like before I say I'm excited for it.

Smash Bros, Halo collection, Bayonetta 1+2, Hyrule Warriors, Sonic Boom and Sunset Overdrive.

I'd say I'm more looking forward to Wii U exclusives this year and next but will probably wait until next year till I grab an XB1 instead, not really any PC exclusives I'm bothered about this year, possibly Grey Goo next year but that's honestly about it and can't see myself getting a PS4 next year, maybe in about 3-4 years when it's gotten cheaper and has something I'll actually look forward to though.

CIV Beyond Earth: I worry that I won't have time for any other games.
Far Cry 3: Like some people already said it looks a lot like the third one. but I realy enjoyed that game (loaded it up again last week and reset all the outposts).
Dragon Age Inqusition: Not realy exited but I look forward to this one I Also still have some faith in Bioware because I actualy thought DA2 was fun (if frustrating) tough the me3 ending was shit.
Also probaly some others i have forgotten about at the moment

I'm pretty excited for Persona Q. Looks awesome, and anyway more Persona is always welcome. Also now that SMT 4 has finally been confirmed for release here in Europe I suppose I'm excited for that, even though I gave in and watched an LP of it ages ago. Oh, and Persona 4 Arena 2. I suck at the game (like real bad. The easiest AI curbstomps me), but I'm going to buy it just for the story, and because its Persona.
Non Atlus? The new pokemon games look pretty hot (not that I've seen any real gameplay yet). Uh... Monster Hunter 4 doesn't come out till next year... Pillars of Eternity? I've just got back into NWN (man the first chapter is a chore) so I figure I'll be warmed up for it by the time it releases.

Hotline Miami 2 and maybe Catequesis if that actually releases. My laptop could run games from last year pretty well but I'm not going to push it for new AAA releases anymore. With Hotline's level editor I expect there to be even more replayability anyway
