Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Smash Bros Wii U, Master Chief Collection. The only one I can say for sure that I'll be buying, as I already own the console for it and the franchise has stolen my soul, is Pokemon, but I look forward to playing Smash with/against that one friend at college that has every single Nintendo game, and I'm not looking forward to trying to resist the gravitational pull that is $460 of Halo and machine-to-play-Halo-on. And the next Minecraft title update and its excessive world customization should be fun when it finally drops.

Oh, and the $60 Martin O'Donnell and Paul McCartney feature-length album. I preordered Destiny ages back, and I can play it on a previous-gen console (360), so I'll be trying that out. The massive hype for the game isn't really what it was when it was first announced, but great music is a massive plus for a video game for me, and with that pairing I have lofty expectations.

(Really, though, I should be working on my massive game backlog before I even think about throwing even more money at games. I bought Portal months ago and still haven't finished it because of how slowly I've been taking it...and that's the shortest of the games I've got waiting for me to play.)

The games I am currently interested in are: Risen 3: Titan Lords , Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition , Sacred 3 , Dragon Age: Inquisition , Raven's Cry , Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! , The Evil Within , Far Cry 4. knowing my bad luck , most of those games may be a total disappointment , but yeah , those are the games that interest me right now.

Hmm, I'm looking forward to Civilization: Beyond Earth along with SOMETHING to improve Tropico 5.

I'm looking forward to the Guided Fate Paradox Sequel (Though when that will get a Western release I haven't a clue) KH 2.5 for obvious reasons and that's all I can really think of.

I think I'm more looking forward to anime really. Grisaia no Meikyuu translation would be nice too.

This year's all about the Kickstarters.

The big one is Pillars of Eternity, although it wouldn't surprise me if it was pushed back to early 2015. With every piece of information given, it just looks more and more like exactly my perfect game. It's got a lot to live up to in my mind.

I'm also waiting for Wasteland 2, Dreamfall Chapters (again, I wouldn't be surprised if this was delayed to 2015), and Dead State, and all seem to be shaping up nicely.

I didn't back it, but I'm keeping an eye on Divinity: Original Sin too. Could be a fun isometrics RPG.

Farcry 3 would be the one I'm most excited for. I loved 3 and this looks like it will improve on it. I'm really digging the verticality.

Shadows of Mordor is the other game I have my eye on. When it was first announced, I was pretty skeptical. However, the more I see of this game, the better it looks.

And since Nintendo is a horrible horrible company you wont see it when US gets it. Actually, trust me when I think its unlikely you've EVER get it. Arn't we still waiting for SMT 3?

For me I guess the big one is Metro 2033 Redux. I'm also really looking forward to the last two episodes of The Walking Dead Season Two.

Persona Q (vacationing in Japan and it sits on shelves fucking taunting me)
Curtain Call: Theatrythm Final Fantasy (gameplay is too damn fun and Mystic Quest is getting some love!)
Far Cry 4 (loved 3, gonna pick this one up)
Persona 4 Ultimax (mainly to play some online with chums, story seems kinda wank)
Super Smash Bros U (gonna suck up a lot of my time, especially with Escapist chums playing as well)
Destiny (dubious, will wait for feedback)
Pokemon Omega Ruby (still not into metagaming, but its fun for a good playthrough, played Ruby as a kid)
Kingdom Hearts II.5 HD reMIX (Kingdom Hearts 2 and BBS were the series finest, so hells yeah)
Mario Kart 8 (shut up, I haven't picked it up yet because I am half way across the world)
The Walking Dead Season 2 (have yet to play ep 3, but I eagerly look forward to seeing the climax of this season)
Dangan Ronpa 2 (looking forward to playing the localized version with English dubbing)

There is also a lot of Steam sales, so I best get saving like a ************.
Don't forget the rumoured FFXIV expansion (better have fucking Gunner)

So its even worse then Persona 4 Arena. Yep, Nintendo is a despicable company, and it pisses me off people bought the damn 3DS and it gained a player base before it even got any good games on the damn system. It is working proof that quality means nothing to gamers, and it is extremely poorly designed nearly universally. Why the fuck does ATLUS have to develop games for it as well as drag a mainline SMT game to the fucking system. Unless it releases at lower then half price in Australia, its a rip off.
On the other hand, having a good install base encouraged games to be developed for the 3DS. Any particular reason why you call the 3DS poorly designed in every manner? Mine has yet to melt, so it's at least better than my Xbox 360 (and my PC, for that matter). And where else would Atlus release SMT 4? The 3DS is popular in Japan, their main market, and it's cheaper to develop for since they can save time and money on graphics- not that any SMT game I've played has actually looked bad.
I can't argue with your stance on the region locking. Fuck Nintendo for region locking the 3DS, and for that matter fuck Atlus for region locking Persona 4 Arena. It would have been nice for them to take a little less time to get their heads out of their asses with porting SMT 4. At least we're getting a reasonably decent release date with Persona Q.
