Mass Effect. I've played through the first one 4 times, and the second one three and a half times. Also, Napoleon: Total War. According to Steam I've clocked up 338 hours on that game.

Wow, a lot of rather modern games on the list.

Warcraft 2, for me. I remember wasting entire nights of my youth on battle.net, duking it out with other players on BGH maps. Fun thing is that I didn't even have that many battles played, since a session could take anywhere from 20 minutes to 2-3 hours.

Oh the incredible slaughterhouse between knights and ogres in the centre of the map... Golden...

Call of Duty, just overall call of duty. Once I get Battlefield 3 I'll sell back Black Ops and force the addiction out of me.

Fallout: NV
Mass Effect 2
Star Craft 2
Destroy All humans!

Crysis editor (to this day), it deserves a special mention and a clap people.

And the ultimate... the very best of the best and most addictive:
Star Wars BattleFront 2

I am actually curious as to how often I have praised it on this forum :p

Duke Nukem 3D, since that was practically the only game I had on my pc for years, along with a demo of Rise of the Triads, after that Age of Empires I & II.
As I got older, I got addicted to Hitman, and now I'm embracing Death to Spies and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

For consoles, I remember I was really addicted to Sonic the Hedgehog and Jurassic Park on Genesis, along with Cannon Fodder and Golden Axe II.
Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid and GTA2 were my addiction on PSX, when the PS2 arrived I got really addicted to Romances of the Three Kingdoms IX I think... or was it VIII?
I guess the only current generation games I was ever addicted to were Red Dead Redemption (Big spaghetti western fan here), Arkham Asylum and Mass Effect.

Team Fortress 2, approaching my 700th hour (no idling).

Ever since school ended nearly two weeks ago that's all I've been doing, beside a small amount of Minecraft.

Oblivion, Pretty sure over 1000 hours on that. Also I played Red Alert 2 for about 500 hours I think, for about 2 months that was the only game I played. Played Fallout 3 to death, played KotOR through 12 times. Also I played Guitar hero 3 until I had 5 Stared every song on the play list- That took a WHILE.

WoW. I was addicted to that a few years ago. Thankfully, I realised that was happening and got out of it. Rather than leave my character there to tempt me back at some stage, or just delete him, I wanted to go out in style.

I sold all my items, including almost all my gear, put on a tuxedo and hosted my own gameshow. I got random people to call heads or tails, flipped the in-game coin and if they called it right, they got cash. It ended up being incredibly popular. I was quite sad when my time ended and I had to stop.

It was very satisfying to see a couple of low-level people walk away with 100g or more. It also means there's nothing to lure me back into the game.
