I know for some people it was that the economic management required to build and maintain multiple armies of good units became a chore - too much boring accounting to get to the 'fun' part of the game.sms_117b said:Total War, I don't know, something was just absent after Rome, and Empire all but crushed my love for the series. Which is a shame as I spent more hours on Shogun and Medieval in my life than most other games ever.
A lot of people had issues with Empire's much more uniform unit types across factions, elimating factional 'uberunits' and breaking the 'rock-paper-scissors' strategy... and just about everybody hated the massive patches it required until TCA gave up and decided to to release the full working version as Napoleon.
OT: Dead Space (PC).. seriously, fuck whoever decided sludgey mouse controls was a good idea. Turned the mouse sensativity up to max and it still moved like it was in glue.
