I recently beat Red Dead Redemption (I know, Slowpoke mode) and now, looking to play another game. Looking at my list of played-but-yet-to-beat games. I'm stumped.

I made this thread a few months ago, not sure the rules on thread-necro-ing.

What game should I chose to complete the single player for?

(Warning: image is rather large)

Games crossed out are ones I've beaten.

I'd say probably "Homeworld". Truly epic campaign.

If you want something short and sweet, go with "Singularity". Underrated game of 2010.

Well do you have a PS3? If so, play through Metal Gear Solid 4 i you havent, I was at future shop and seen it for only 19.99 brand new. almost 3 or 4 times more then whatI paid for it. But it was worth every penny. Hunted the demon;s forge was really good too.

Baldur's Gate I & II. I consider the second one to be the best game ever made. Deep, rich single player experience. P3: FES is a great choice too.

If you'd rather have something that isn't an RPG, try Bayonetta. Get the 360 version if possible, since on the PS3 it apparently has some severe issues if you don't install it (and some other issues even if you do). The PS3 version should still be good with patches, it just won't be as good as the other version. Play Folklore too. Beautiful game, if a little rough around the edges. Also Resonance of Fate. And Odin Sphere. And Dragon Age.

Argh, I just want to recommend all of them. I wish I could play some of these games for the first time again.

[small]Oh yeah, and while I didn't see them on your list: Demon's Souls and Persona 4. Possibly the best games on the PS3 and PS2, respectively.[/small]

I'd leave Fallout 3 and Oblivion until you've got a few games out of the way, those two are time eaters. They are premptivly noming on all of that time you waste opening game cases. Nom, nom, nom. Also, make sure you mod the two of those for (in the words of super genius mancat Professor Genki) MAXIMUM PLEASURE!

I would give Singularity a play through, it's apparently one of the few games to have a multi-choice ending where all of the choices are just as valid as one another, despite being different.

From personal experience, I know Deus Ex is a well-made (if in need of a few graphical mods) game that can keep you entertained for many hours... and you can even play it in such a way as to not kill people. Yay, amazingly friendly ninja time, GO!

Also, Dragon Age: Origins! Holy handgrenades how do you live without playing this one?! Play it as soon as possible, it's great! Just don't play as an archer... you'll hate it.

^Troof.

Out of the others, I'd recommend starting with Deus Ex, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Witcher 2, Screed 2, Amnesia, and if you have a massive chunk of time to kill, Persona 3.

If you haven't played the games before, Metroid Prime Trilogy. Definitely. If you have, Deus Ex.

Singularity. It's rather short but fun as hell. I always thought it was extremely under appreciated, but other people don't like it.

Still, at least give it a shot.

holy HELL you have alot of games to play..

for "story" though?

i'd recommend witcher 2 and dragon age origins, both definitely fun to get into and waste a weekend on, however if your looking for maybe a shooter or something with "story"

i'll say :

singularity and borderlands

borderlands is AMAZINGLY fun to do the campaign with friends in co op (not too bad by yourself either, but its basically a FPS dungeon loot crawler, so it's alot of fun with friends)

and singularity is definitely underrated...

Damn you have a shitload of excellent games. So many are amazing, but I'd like to recommend Eternal Darkness. It is a really unique game. The sanity effects are interesting and it has an overall creepy vibe. Really loved that game.

Uh...wow. I think you need to accept the fact that you are never going to be able to play all those games. Not unless you start devoting some SERIOUS time to gaming, and even then I think you won't make it.

I have to ask: Did you play Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2? If so, Silent Hill 3 would be my suggestion. After that, Half-Life games (assuming you played 2, in which case how have you NOT played the Episodes?) After that, I suggest Dragon Age: Origins and I hear Baldur's Gate 2 is supposed to be amazing. If you want a game that is so heavy on story that you will feel your brain being crushed under is convoluted weight, play Metal Gear Solid 4 as well. On that one though, know what you're getting into.
Good luck.

Vagrant Story is great. Plus I'd replace your Front Mission 4 with some Front Mission 3 goodness and do that.

The very first you complete is:

Dragon Age: Origins

After that, on the order you want to:

Dawn of War, Fallout 3, Torchlight, Wither 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Metal Gear Solid 4, LA Noire, Assassin's Creed 2

Are we allowed to suggest more than one?

If so I add, Baldur's Gate 2 (didn't see one in there, I assume it's already finished, if not it comes first)
Icewind Dale 2 (same deal as baldur's gate)
Deus Ex
The Witcher 2 (Same thing, I assume the first one is already beaten)
Oni (Because It should only take 3 hours.)

that's it really. The rest I either don't have an opinion on either way, don't think are great for story, or haven't played.
