Not counting WoW, Fallout 3.
I had never played a game like that before. I was more of an FPS guy, and I was so confused at first.
When I first saw the Wasteland, I ran towards the direction of Megaton, missed it (You gotta admit, who the hell would think that giant metal thing was a city?), and I remember I ended up wandering aimlessly through different Metro Stations with all my ammo gone, so I was down to just punching everything. I eventually wound up at the Jefferson Memorial, and I got owned by 5 Mutants with Rifles.
I eventually got the game guide, along with me deleting my game, and restarting, following the book VERY closely.
Add in all the time I spent on DLCS, and that's one hell of a long game.
