What game was so good you kept the console?

Do you have any games that are so good it was worth keeping your old console just to play them again?

I've never gotten rid of a console before. Still have my SNES hooked up, actually.

Genesis: All the Sonic games, Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition, Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, Shining in the Darkness, Ecco the Dolphin, a couple others I'm forgetting.

N64: Smash Brothers, Mystical Ninja, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Quest 64, Banjo-Kazooie, a couple others I'm forgetting.

Gamecube: Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos (both), Tales of Symphonia, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Smash Brothers Melee, Wind Waker, Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2, Soul Calibur 2, a few others I'm forgetting.

PS2: Devil May Cry (3 and 1), God Hand, Tales of the Abyss, Samurai Warriors 2 (and Xtreme Legends), Arcana Heart, Fate/Unlimited Codes, a few others I'm forgetting.

I'd add my Wii to the list, but I'm still building a collection.

I /DID/ keep my Cube for Tales of Symphonia and SSBM. But with the Wii's bizzaro Nintendo announcement of 'backward compatibility' I can share the families Wii when I want to play it, I had the Ps2 for most other things.

Not only am I keeping my PS2 because of that game, I actually traded my XBOX 360 with Halo 3 for a PS2 so I could have that game.

Yeah bzitches you heard right, I traded in Halo 3 and XBOX360 for a PS2 just so I had the chance to then go out and buy GOD HAND.

The game is silly and fun, you know fun right?

Final Fantasy X/X-2/XII, Devil May Cry 3, Sly Cooper trilogy, Dragon Quest VIII, Kingdom Hearts series, among others - PS2

Pokemon series, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Fire Emblem series, DragonBall: Advanced Adventure, WarioWare, Final Fantasy series - GameBoy Advance.

I hoard my older consoles, I love them, especially when my newer ones start dying.

Nothing. If I own a console, I don't trade it in or sell it. Simple as that.

Second, It's just a matter of principle to never trade in an old system that had served me so diligently for many years. Even if it breaks I don't trash it. I've got my launch ps2 still in my room because it served me five years of fun. Also, there were too many good games on it to count. I've kept all my Gameboys. I have two gray brick gameboys. I suppose the games I played the most on there were Metroid and Zen: The Intergalactic Ninja (anyone else play that game?).
