What game were you obsessed with one year ago today?

I was just hanging out today, and I realized that at exactly this day last year I had just picked up Saint's Row 2 and was mindlessly running around shooting everything I could see in that game

Today I just picked up the RDR Zombie DLC and Dead Rising 2

So what game were you obsessing over this time last year, and what game now?

Shit.

I was doing the Saint's Row 2 thing at it's launch over 2 years ago. Pre-ordered collector's edition and everything. Got my Saint's Row 2 money clip and bullet flash drive.

One year ago? Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran, and Assassin's Creed 2, likely.

On simultaneous plays, of course. I like to spread my focus on multiple games. Keeps anything from getting stale.

One year ago today...shit, that was after my ex-wife filed for divorce and before she moved out. I'm pretty sure I was still playing through my Rome: Total War campaign.

Ask me this same question in five days and I'll say Fallout 3, since I bought the Game of the Year edition the day she moved out (the 23rd) and spent most of the rest of winter break playing it.

Well I know that on Christmas eve last year I decided to give Fallout 3 another shot and ended up loving it and playing it almost exclusively well into January. 'Finishing' just in time for Mass Effct 2.

Think I went to my local GAME store to try and get the GOTY version for the DLC on boxing day because I was enjoying it that much. If not boxing day, the day after.

This day a year ago I was probably most looking forward to getting ME2 because there weren't many games out for xmas that I wanted.
