I wanted to play Mass Effect for years, but I had only gotten a 360 a month before- so it was a great time

Oh boy. I hadn't yet gotten Assassin's Creed 2 (though I would... will?... in six days). Therefore I think that it may have been Modern Warfare 2 before I figured out that it was a sack of shit, or maybe still Bioshock (which I have played through 20)+ times by now.

AC 2 and Mass Effect 2. Two of my all time favouritest games. Man that was a good Christmas.......

Mass Effect 2 came out a month after Christmas, mate. It's not even a year old yet, but it will be next month.

As for myself, I was probably playing Fallout 3 or Gears of War 2. I don't remember. A year is too long ago to remember which game I was playing accurately.

Actually I'm kidding. I wasn't really obsessed with it and actually did play it moderately, but I probably played it the most around this time last year. It was a good way to keep in touch with my sister on the other side of the country.

Is it super lame that we exchanged in game presents because we're both too cheap and lazy to bother with mailing real gifts?

definitely Borderlands, I had just picked it up off of my friend for $15 three weeks after it came out, and I got some great value out of it. Shit, I still play it from time to time. Right now, probably F.E.A.R.
