What game would make the best film

Personally, I think things like Halo and Half Life especially, would make better TV series. Any adaption to film, even in a 3 hour flick would miss out on vitals and on character development.

Bioshock, Which is infact being made am I right?

I think Grand Theft Auto could probably transfer well to the big screen, along with (old school retro) Beneath a Steel Sky.

Not played Bioshock. BUT I would certainly agree that GTA would be a good transition to a movie. Half Life I think would be good but I've only seen a couple of vids of it and yet to play it.
Something like Knights of the Old Republic might be something worth doing as well maybe.

The pitfall with movies based on games is that they are usually produced to be money spinners, which is a shame because if they followed the plot, character map and feel of the original material(READ:the tricky stuff that makes a film good and that has already been done for them) for once they might actually make a good film. And they would still make the money. Uwe Ball-bag should never be let near another film again by the way. How does he still get work? How did he get work in the first place. God that guy sucks.

It would be just about impossible to put Legacy of Kain into a movie. You might be able to make a series out of it, but it would never work as something shorter.

OR Assassins Creed could be fairly sweet, provided you didn't have to watch the protagonist do the exactly same thing 1400 times before it was over...

Oddworld. Abe's Odyssey and Exoddus.

Two of the best games ever coded in my opinion.

The later had some of its CGI cut scenes taken from the game and was nominated for an oscar for best short-film, now if they made both games into one epic Mudokon saving movie, I'd be a happy chappy.
