Supernatural.
Open world third person shooter survival horror thing.

With co-op that makes sense, to boot.

I was going to say "SUPERNATURAL", but this genius here beat me to it.
On top of that, you'd need to implore a wide variety of strategies to perform exorcisms on the many demonic forces. And the first game in the series would stick to all the pre-Apocalyptic episodes and save the end-of-the-world for a second game.

house, but it has nothing to do with any of the characters or settings or plot from the tv series, and it doesnt take place in a hospital. its just called house, and you run around as hugh laurie posting up pictures of yourself in public places.

Stargate SG-1 was supposed to have a game released a long while back, and the MMO they were (are?) making seems like it'll be okay.

Also? An action-adventure game based on Doctor Who. And by action, I don't mean a platformer shooter, but a platform/freerunning/puzzle solver where other people shoot at YOU. The Doctor doesn't get to shoot back, instead you just survive by the hair on your ass using your brain. It's an idea I've had since I started watching the show (quite recently, what with not living in the UK) that, while probably quite difficult to get right, could be fantastic.

Edited because "porbably" isn't a word.

I'd love to see a game of Battlestar Galactica (the new series, not the original). It could include epic space battles {the kind that Yahtzee has been tediously mentioning for too long), a fantastic story and voice work from the original cast as well as perhaps third-person shooter elements on the ground on Caprica and New Caprica etc etc
If there was one it would probably suck but if a dev pulled it off then it would be my favourite game of all time

You know why Lost: Via Domus sucked? Because they had the wrong title. The best title is so obvious.

Fuuuu.... I got ninja'd...

OT: Firefly - not based on the crew of the Serenity though, just on the universe itself. And it would pretty much have to be an MMO - you could be alliance military, a smuggler, or an up and coming crime lord on one of the frontier worlds. Or anything else you can think of (apart from the reavers - they'd have to be NPC's)

Actually, most TV series based games would work best as MMO's. Heroes, for example - you pick your powers, choose whether to work for the company or not, choose to be a hero or a villain, and then run around the world with everyone else - there are too many choices to limit the game to a single player (although it would basically end up being Crackdown in MMO form)

Deadwood, without a doubt.
Yeah, that'd be sweet. There'd be a couple of abrupt gunfights at the beginning. Don't blink or you'll miss them. Then there'd be a branching conversation tree full of obscure swears. Then, right before the epic boss fight, the first one would end with the promise of a sequel, which will never be made.

Sorry, still bitter about that show's producers' short attention spans.
Oh, I'm bitter as hell about the abrupt end of it. But if there was a game, maybe we'd get some real closure. Bring everyone back to voice their characters.

A Deadwood or (soon-to-be-TV) Walking Dead game would be kick ass.

I think a game based on sherlock (the new BBC series) could be interesting maybe a three-part downloadable series. yeah that would be cool to see.

EDIT: However it must...MUST have the voices of the TV cast.

This is a little off topic because it's film and not TV but...

I really want to see a co-op, possibly third-person 'Gears style' shooting, Han Solo and Chewie game.

Sons of anarchy. Open world Gang game? Mafia rip off perhaps. Hmm.

South park! Loved the N64 game! And not that Tower defense play. Although it was good.

Two and a half men? Lol.

I want a Doctor Who point-and-click adventure game made by Telltale Games.
A specific request, I know.

And a sequel to Blazing Dragons if they can get their hands on it.
Note: to all people who consider a DR.WHO game, go on bbc.co.uk and search for Doctor Who: The adventure games(or something similar.

CSI. And I'm NOT counting the one that was made. Or Law and Order. This game should be done "Ace Attorney" style. Get evidence, use forensic stuff, use the "Logic" feature from the "Investigations" series, and then have interogations in the for of AA's courtroom sequences.

Megas XLR. Dude, it's giant robots fighting aliens (most of the time). How can this not be a video game already? No need to describe, this game writes itself...

Pinky and The Brain. Two small mice trying to take over the world? There can be two halves to this game: As Brain, you build up your plan to take everything over, and as Pinky, you try to help, but it ends up screwing everything up.

I'd like an open, Deus Ex/Vampire: The Masquerade-esque RPG based on The Dresden Files.

Ok technically based on the books, but because there's a TV show too I say it counts in this thread.

You wouldn't play any of the established characters, like Harry or Murphy or anyone else, but an entirely new character who someone gets involved in certain supernatural affairs in Chicago (with an entirely new story, not a book or TV episode rehashed). While you wouldn't play as one of the known characters, you will work together with them, receive (side)missions from them and all that.

There could be several broad character classes to choose from, like a wizard, a young Warden, werewolf, that sort of thing. Just a class that defines your big abilities. Then there'd be the freedom of establishing your own skill set as we know it from the aforementioned RPG's; sneaking, lock-picking, fire arms, etc etc etc.

I'd love to see such a game, urban fantasy is one of the most under appreciated settings in videogames, even more so than steampunk.
