Now im new to the escapist but im almost certain that some one has probs made this thread before but what game would you like to see as a movie?

I think a fallout 3 movie would be sweet.
Or even oblivion.

Yours?

The Road Warrior and Lord of the Rings have already been made.

The answer is absolutely none. The two genres don't mix well. No game property has ever been improved by a movie.

Haha Fallout 3 is a movie, just watch Mad Max :p Nah but I would like to see Duke Nukem or Crysis as a movie. Or... MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR!!! Yeaaah! =)

Might be interesting to see a movie based on the Armored Core IP :)

...if only to ride in the wake of the popularity of Transformers.

Uncharted would be good. Assassin's Creed, [Prototype] and Condemned 2

Considering they're pretty much movies already, the Uncharted series. They could add absoloutely nothing original and flat-out copy the games, and the movies would still end up being pretty awesome.

I'm still of the opinion that one can make a better Hitman movie.

And, a Force Unleashed film could probably work.

Mass Effect the movie, I can see it now...... of course it would be the longest movie ever for them to be able to get in all the details, but still. Imagine it in high definition 3d.

Although I'm not a fan of the games, Neil Blomkamp showed us that a Halo movie would be awesome.

Super Mario Bros!
Silent Hill!
Resident Evil!
Double Dragon!
Street Fighter!
Alone in the Dark!
House of the Dead!

These would make great movies!

EDIT: ooh ooh I have more! What about Hitman? Max Payne? Postal? Resident Evil 2? Tomb Raider? Dead or Alive? Doom? Wing Commander? Bloodrayne? These would *all* make great movies!

None, games are great because of the interactivity between player and character. Removing this aspect does not make for a good film.

Counter strike: Source

Think about it, what other movie would have elements of jailbreak films, zombie films, action films, kiddy films and pirate films?

Pong!

(Kidding)

Hmm, hard to say really, since most video game based movies are piles of weaksauce. But if they could do it right (Which is saying a lot...) I'd have to go with Eternal Darkness, Metal Gear Solid, and Pheonix Wright.

What about Tomb Raider? I think it would really work if it were given a much more unwieldy title and starred a woman who looks incapable of lifting a bag of groceries.

Postal and Bloodrayne would make great movies too... Ah Bloodrayne, you know a movie is bad when the sex scene is the best part.

Yeah! Throw in a robot and you've got yourself a kickass movie! Why hasn't anyone ever thought of doing this? This is cinematic gold!
