Soulbringer.

I love the game, but I can admit that it's got some really good ideas that are heavily countered by some pretty deep flaws. The seculorum and melee combat work just fine, if they could do something about the ranged combat, make Air spells worthwhile enough to imbalance toward, and fix the stilted motion while keeping the great-looking motion capture...
I support this idea! There's some very cool stuff in Soulbringer that the rest of the game just wrecks.

OT: Legend of Dragoon... sorta. What I really want to see is a prequel set in the Dragon Campaign, sort of like what Origins was to Baten Kaitos. I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of the original, with modern graphics, a better script (translation's come a long way since then) and some of the pocketstation BS (such as the desperately needed larger inventory) worked into the game another way.

edit: ohh, and make the lights flicker at times, at throw in an insanity system! for parody...

Star Wars Battlefront, I'd give a very large sum of money to see a third installment in that series.

Baldurs Gate: The Complete Saga. Keep the isometric perspective, but use 3D models instead of the currently drawn backgrounds.

I loved baldur's gate, mainly because i found unconventional use for spells.

Invisibility + summon monster = trick the enemy wizard into nuking himself and everyone with him!

edit: story line, it's dnd ed.2, also reasons i liked it.

But wait! It get's better!

Use Chain Contingency to summon three Project Image who then each can summon a Simulacrum. Suddenly you have SIX wizards for the price of one!

Vampire: The Masquerade
Psychonauts
Dreamfall (they wanted to make Dreamfall: Chapters but no sign of it, yet)
KotoR 3 - come on, no MMORPG
Neverwinter Nights
Gothic - but this time no streamlined and bug-ridden Arcania (even Gothic 3 wasn't good, only playable/enjoyable with the community patches)
Bayonetta - another game with the witch would be cool

This are just some games, there are a lot more which could make good sequels/remakes.

Good shout, sir. I was gonna say Rome:TW 2, but i'd part with my middle nut to acquire SW:BF3!

Reboot Kane and Lynch, make it purely a Heist game with an entire refocused emphasis on robbing banks and other things that you... rob.

They are great characters with great backgrounds that were completely destroyed by being terrible fucking games. It easily has some of the most potential in the mainstream game industry

I would go for "Stronghold 3: This time for real guys, not the bugtastic mess we just released".
I was literally just thinking about buying the Collectors Edition right before I read this comment, which is all sorts of freaking me out right now.

Is it worth the twenty buck price for all of them?

Star Control 3 - This time, make sure it isn't anywhere near as crappy and make a worthy successor to the first two games in the series (especially the second). Keep the Orz plot and junk the rest.

Crusader: No Remorse - How about another instalment involving our favourite Silencer? Maybe call it "No Retreat", to go with the titling scheme? Keep the perspective and add a lot more depth to the storylines. Oh, and bring back Brooks.

Battletech/MechWarrior. I'd like to see it span from 3020ish to 3067(Classic Battletech FTW). Factions battling across the Inner Sphere and Clan space with lots of customization, lance/company commands(depending on story or how good you do in game), where vehicles and infantry can be effective against mechs, and a branching story. Having characters like Kai Allard Liao, Grayson Death Carlyle, Morgan Kell, the Jade Pheonix, Vlad Ward, Sun-Tzu, Horse, Theodore Kurita, and the rest:)P). Maybe playing as different characters from different times or making your own character and watching him progress and age. Since all that would probably be too much for one outing, I think having parts released as DLC expansion packs(FedCom Civil War, Operation Serpent/Bulldog, Forth Succession War, The Clan Invasion, Saga of the Gray Death Legion, and a bundle of smaller side stories) would rock.

Also Freedom Fighters, Red Faction, and Berserk.

Aliens versus Predator 2. We need a proper ending to the excellent trilogy!

I played the first one after a cousin lend it to me but it was with Stronghold 2 that I really got into that game. Of course I have it all patched up, and although it's not perfect, it's still an enjoyable game.
If you can run them on your computer (those games are a bit old) then go ahead and buy the collection, but make sure it's all fixed, and avoid Stronghold 3 for now (there's nothing more frustrating than watching your units sink helplessly into the ground with no way for going back up).
