What game would you make a sequel/reboot to?

Saw the thread title/question and the first (and only) thing that popped into my mind was Vagrant Story. I'd settle for an HD re-release but given the story and world that the original created a sequel would be nice as well. The game had interesting characters, decent environments (a bit on the brown side and the map function can fuck right off), solid combat (sequel combat would probably more resemble Devil May Cry or God of War) and probably the most balanced crafting system I've ever encountered.

I would like a sequel to Chrono Trigger. Awesome game, definitely needs another look

Yes Chrono Cross was technically the sequel, but I just did not like it at all. Hard tget involved with the story when there are a million damn characters to choose from. That, and the magic system felt so crappy to me.

I guess a remake of Chrono Cross then would accomplish the same goal here. Either way, this needs to happen!

Advent Rising. I feel like that game had a lot of potential. I found the gameplay to be a lot of fun, but it was so buggy and unpolished that it tanked and nearly bankrupted the developing company. It was supposed to be the first in a trilogy, but now we'll probably never see the rest of it. If I could, I'd give it an HD makeover, fix all the bugs, and maybe tweak some of the story a bit to see if it would sell better.

Definitely Fallout 1 & 2, but gameplay in the form Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I don't think it's possible since Interplay still own the rights to Fallout 1 & 2 (correct me if I'm wrong). If it is possible for Bethesda or Obsidian to remake them, it would be using the Creation Engine that Skyrim uses. Imagine that, Fallout in Skyrim graphics, I know text probably won't convince you, but I'm drooling whilst daydreaming. Reliable sources say Fallout 2 did have a better story than Fallout 3 after all.

Call me a Bethesda fanboy, (I don't think I am, Fallout 3 was my first game from them which I bought in 2010) but a remake of The Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall would be nice. In Skyrim graphics of course. Hell, why not Morrowind and Oblivion?

Deus Ex: Invisible War was never made. It's all just false rumours.
Well, here are a whole bunch of people selling what is obviously an imaginary game.

All a part of the conspiracy. I even have a game called Deus Ex Invisible War in my Steam library, but having played all 3 games I can say there's only been made 2 Deus Ex games.

stranger's wrath 2. I love the idea of switching between 3rd and 1st person view and the world is cool.

That was such a great game. Hell, when I played it, I didn't even know that it was apparently buggy. I'm not sure if the Xbox version was less buggy than the PC version or not, but I only ever experienced one bug bad enough to notice, and even that was fixed by restarting the system and loading the game again. I loved the story and gameplay though (even if the story was a cookie-cutter tale riding on the wake left by Halo, and the gameplay literally could be broken by the last super-power you get that lets you slow down time and crush all of the enemies with your fists if you've leveled up melee combat.)

The only bug I really remember was that the radial attack of the aeon pulse could leave you stuck in the air unable to move or attack but still able to take damage. Aside from that, it was a blast to play. One of my favorite things to do was slow down time and wait for snipers to shoot at me so I could use surge to shoot the blasts back at them. Then there was always slow motion side-flipping while shooting guys with a gun in one hand and pick guys up with telekenesis and throwing them with the other hand. Good times.

They should definitely update this game and continue the trilogy.

That's a shame. I hope they'll release it for PC as well.

Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries. Yeah, they "kind of" did that with Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries, but c'mon, you all know 2:M was better.

Most customizations for your Merc company, more mechs, more hirelings, more missions, bigger story, more heavy metal tunes.

Timesplitters....

Y U NO MAKE SEQUEL YET? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

Seriously Timesplitters Future Perfect was my favorite game ever. Cortez is hilarious.

Also Battlefront 3. Seriously Lucas your holding back a game that would outsell anything on the market right now. ANYTHING. And you could hardly try, just upgrade the engine. Please. I'll do anything....

Deus Ex Reboot and a sequel (Invisible war does not count because it does not exsist)
