3) Half life 2 + ep1 +ep2 - I sorta visit them every year
I finished playing those via The Orange Box last year, but I haven't really been compelled to go back since. Not to say that it's not an excellent game, but it just didn't have that "oomph" that made me want to go through the story again.

Still, though, I'm very much looking forward to episode 3. Maybe once it's all said and done, I'll want to play through the entire series again...

starcraft is definitely up there for me, i never get bored of that.

i suppose it doesn't really count to pick games that don't really have an ending, mario party (N64), Wii bowling etc ;)

Any RPG I think, because you can do it differently the next time. So a game with choices because you can always make the other.

FFVII - i will always be able to return to this game and enjoy it

MGS series - like watching a movie
Silent Hill series - sorry i just love them
Oblivion and Fallout 3 - different paths / Characters
Portal - try to beat your fastest times, or just enjoy the creativity all over again
Skate 2 - not necessarily doing all of the career objectives over agian, but just skating around can be fun
Resident Evil Director's Cut - its just good
Rock bands + Guitar Heros - Unless you have 100% all songs on expert or are sick of music in general, then you can always go back and play these games

The Sims - obviously
Starcraft - always find myself going back to play
Digital Paintpall - most addictive game i've ever played http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/news.php

Most western rpg's with plenty of choices.
Any rpg for that one weapon/magic/summon/whatever that you never could get.
Portal :D

I want to play through Too Human again, and probably Medal Of Honor: Airbourne. To crap games there, but both I rushed through and want to find more stuff in.

I love playing through Rachet and Clank games multiple times, and though there sin;t much reward for it playing through Portal over and over again makes me smile. I think that any game that trully matters to single players is worth another go around, like a good movie, to catch the little stuff that may have been missed the first time.

Metroid games: Simply because you can handicap yourself (and get different endings while at it). I've played through Zero Mission 26 times, for example (though it's a short game). And I loved every second of it.

Medal of Hono(u)r Allied Assault: People need to play the snipertown level, THEN decide wether they either the regenerative health system or the medpack approach. People who like being punished for bad play will likely opt for the latter, I think.

KotOR series. Pretty obvious why.

Morrowind. Again, pretty damn obvious reasons here.

And I'll probably come up with some more later...

I always loved Oddworld Strangers Wrath...although I never really got the ending...actually I don't even remember what happened but I just remember being really irritated.

I'm also playing Animal Crossing and it's a ho-hum sort of game but hey, it gets me prepared for zzz's at night. I'm not big on Sims they always seem to put me down.

Zelda and Mario games have good replay value, once you've put them down for about a year.

Neverwinter, Fallout, Starcraft, etc. And Oblivion

OP could you really play through Mass Effect again? I was so bored of that game by the ending. Unless it would be for achievements :p
Actually, yeah, I could. Granted, I wouldn't spend nearly as much time planetside as I did the first time through. Still, I really enjoyed the overall plot and gameplay of the game. Plus, since I played it through as a good guy the first time through, I could play as the bad not-nearly-as-good guy on the 2nd pass.

And shiny new achievements are never a bad thing! *grin*

1) Portal
2) The Myst series
3) Day of the Tentacle
4) Sly Cooper series
5) Silent Hill 2
6) Fallout 3/Oblivion

Note: I numbered these in the order that I played them the first time around.

Well Oblivion and Fallout 3. Bethseda make games you can't play once.

Tales of Symphonia... you can't go through it without taking the 'Kill off that Mouthy Pervert'- story diverge once. And then trying out the different 'choose which character is your BFF' endings.
