Believe it or not, I played the crap out of Mount&Blade, thanks in large part to the unbelievably huge modding community.
Otherwise, I'd probably say things like Mass Effect 1&2, Oblivion, maybe the original Fable and Halo games and... Heavy Rain.
Also, as this topic is about games that were worth what I payed for them: I got the original Age of Empires for free in a cereal box a while back. As I said, it cost nothing, so I think that constitutes a pretty good deal.
Finally, though I hate to say it, I really, really enjoyed the time I spent playing WoW. I stopped over a year ago, so don't bug me about it, but being a part of this large, vibrant community, and just casually chatting about anything and everything, no matter what we were doing, was absolutely, unbelievably brilliant.

Team Fortress 2, without question. Less than half the price of a regular game, but its provided me with almost 200 hours of gameplay.

Half-Life 2, and even when completely disregarding HL2 itself (which I've played a fair amount as well), but as it contains Counter-Strike: Source as well; 842 hours clocked, and this clock was reseted just this or last year. There are many others, but this one worth more than any else.

If I can get more than 40 hours of gameplay out of one game I'm more than happy I purchased it.

I paid 12 quid for the first fire emblem to be released PAL for the GBA awhile ago. I must have spent more time on that, than all my other games put together.

Money well Spent in.

Fallout 3 for Fifteen quid aint bad either -- Especially after i installed all the nice, free mods.

+++respect points.

For me it will have to be M&B:Warband.

Savage was also definately worth the price (free) and I consider it one of my favorite games of all time. Atleast back in the day, now its somewhat fallen to shit imo.

What games ARE? Oh, about...90% or more of my collection. I buy good games. I play good games. I know my own taste well enough after almost thirty years as a gamer to know what I will and won't like. And I rarely miss.

So yeah. 90% plus of my collection.

I don't think I've ever purchased a game that I genuinely didn't like but the ones that definitely weren't a waste of money in any way.

Quake (1996 was a great year)
Escape Velocity: Override
Starcraft/SC: Brood War
Unreal Tournament
Mars Rising (One of the best 'bullet hell' games I've ever played.)
Deus Ex (I can't play it anymore. It's not supported by the newer system software and there's no patch. )
Escape Velocity: Nova
Quake 3: Arena/Q3: Team Fortress
American McGee's Alice (Digital LSD. Awesome.)
Unreal Tournament 2004
Doom 3
The Orange Box (Not a single disappointing game in there.)

I'm going preemptively say Starcraft 2, because although I don't own it yet, I've played the trial and already know I'll be hooked.

There were a lot more the I thoroughly enjoyed. There was just one or 2 things about them that bugged me.

I've honestly thought almost every game I've ever bought has been worth the money. The only game I own that I would say wasn't worth it was Advent Rising. I love the rest.
