The Sims 3. I've always been a fan of sandbox games, and although the sims has traditionally never managed to hold my attention the way an fps could, I had high hopes for Sims 3 and was incredibly annoyed when I showed up at a wal mart at 5am in the morning with money in hand only to find out the date of release had been pushed back by four months in order to "stimulate hype"

On the Nintendo-front, all I really have to look forward to so far is Punch-Out! Wii, WiiSportsResort, and Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Not that any of games are gonna be bad, and you never know what E3 might bring us, but Nintendo doesn't have much of a holiday line-up this year.

Little King's Story, get it, now. Or if you're not in EU/AU region, then get it when it comes out.

Seriously, if you (like me) have been waiting for an awesome 3rd party game for the Wii this is it. Its similar to Pikmin in someways (mainly the controls) but with kingdom building and boss fights and stuff.

Not to mention its actually a humorous social commentary hidden beneath a cutesy wutesy styled game.
eg. A religious fanatic comes to your town and tells you to build him a church and that if you don't then "God will punish you, or if he doesn't, then I will".

You do realize that the Wii will most likely run that series into the ground, right? If they put it on the Gamecube, then it would live. The Wii just...... does things...... to..... games......

2011? No way. late 2009 for SC2, and mid to late 2010 for Diablo 3. Blizzard has gotten much better at speeding up making their games since SC Ghost died and Lich King wasn't the best. WotLK was amazing, and it was made in practically record time.

Mafia 2, BioShock 2 God of War 3, and inFamous are the only games that are likely to come out in '09 (I'd stick Diablo and Half Life on the list if otherwise...) that I'm really excited for.

And you know the funny thing? I sold the PS3 I had.
