killzone 3 and dynasty warriors gundam 3

i was interested in armored core 5, but the changes in mech designs and the emphasis on 'total online play' by the developers in interviews make me worry slightly

To be honest, I'm looking forward to the Tomb Raider game. I do so like mocking Lara's handling.
Failing that,
Portal 2
Uncharted 3
Arkham City
Playstation Move Heroes
SSX (might actually be next year, but close enough)
LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean
The Last Guardian (the new Team ICO game)

Games I'm eagerly awaiting:
Dragon Age 2 (released on March 8th, 2011),
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for PC (because I don't have any consoles, released on March 25th, 2011),
Portal 2 (released on April 18th, 2011),
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings (released on May 17th, 2011),
Star Wars: the Old Republic (september 2011?),
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim (released on November 11th, 2011)
and Mass Effect 3 (Q4 2011? Q1 2012?).
Ok, the fact that you had almost all of mine before I even read your list means you deserve to be quoted. Although, ME3 last? Really? Oddly, your last is my first, and vice-versa.
As you might not have noticed, I ordered them by release date. ;) If I had to put them in the "most eagerly awaited" order, I'd put TES5 on the top of the list, though, not ME3. As much as I love and adore the Mass Effect series, I've always been an RPG player at heart and TES has always been the quintessence of RPGs (Mass Effect, especially number 2, is more of a shooter, really).

Portal 2, Skyward Sword, and Pokemon Black and White for me as well.

Is Valve's DotA project set for this years release? If so then that's on my list.
Valve is releasing an AOS?
(I wish people would stop calling it a dota)
Never heard of AOS and Google reveals nothing.

Right now it's Pokemon White and Okamiden. Can't this month go any faster?
Also in the long run I still waiting for Guild Wars 2.

Eternal Darkness 2, but it looks like Nintendo owns the rights to it instead of the developer Silicon Knights as well as the rights to the insanity system. So I guess we won't see that game until they decide to get into what people like to call the "hardcore" market. And given that it took them 20 years to go from their first step of attracting kids to their second step of attracting women, it will probably be ANOTHER 20 before they go for the adult male population. I am so filled with sorrow. I'd like to see that sequel in my lifetime. :(

Soo many...

L.A Noire
Brink
Gears of War 3
Mass Effect 3
Duke Nukem Forever
The Elder Scroll V; Skyrim
Dragon Age 2
Battlefield 3
Arkham City
Bulletstorm

I'll probably think of more, but you can't deny 2011 is gonna be one hell of a year for gaming :D

Hmmm, not too much.

I didn't hear about Mindjack until it came out, but I'm looking forward to trying it.

And I don't recall whether Neverdead is 2011 or 2012, but it looks cool.
oh dear god why??? just watching the trailer for Mindjack, the game looked like crap. and after watching a review of the game ( http://www.blisteredthumbs.net/2011/01/mindjack-angry-review/ ), apparently it IS crap. the reviewer (Angry Joe) said basically every aspect of the game was broken, and even gave the game a 1/10 rating, the lowest he's ever given i think. the game looks and sounds horrible!
...Don't do it!!

oh, ya, to the OP question, I'd say Batman:Arkym City, Portal 2, and Killzone 3(only after i played the beta today and got hooked)
You're talking to the guy who loved Soldier of Fortune: Payback, so obviously my standards aren't too high. Even if the game is broken I love the idea behind it, and at least it's trying something new.

That being said, I wasn't ever going to rush out and buy it, I was gonna wait until it was about 20$

Oh, I did notice it afterwards, I just didn't want to edit. And fair enough, doesn't bother me what order your list was in, if we all liked the same things the same way, I think we'd have a problem.

I think I'd have to agree that, ME2 does depart somewhat from the RPG side, maybe 25-30% from ME1, which I hope they correct.

I'm beyond hyped for Marvel vs Capcom 3. Can't wait to get it Tuesday.

I'm pretty pumped for Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 and TOR as well.

SKYRIM. GOD, SKYRIM.

And Mass Effect 3, but not as much.
x3.

And Dragon Age 2, but even less than ME3. (If it's released in December like I heard.)

That makes it sound bad, but honestly, I'm incredibly excited about all of these.
:3.

I find the lack of love for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 in this thread... disturbing.
Yeah, I just pre-ordered that, so that. Stupid being in Britain and having to wait a few more days than you darned Americans.

Also lookin' forward to inFamous 2 and Portal 2.
My anticipation of Uncharted 3 and Gears of War 3 seems to be dwindling for some reason.

All in no order:

The PC release of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. 12 more days. 12 more days. 12 more days. 12 more days. Screw this I'm freezing myself.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Batman: Arkham City

Dragon Age 2 kinda-sorta looking forward to it because I still need to go do a good playthrough of the 1st one and Awakenings and I've already played through the first one for over...200 hours according to my Xfire account. Stupid import save system...

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution

Mass Effect 3

The top five games I'm definitely getting this year are: Pokemon Black, Dynasty Warriors 7, Catherine, Persona 2: Innocent Sin(PSP), and Okamidan. Those are "day one" purchases. I've also got my eye on Mortal Kombat, Twisted Metal, Batman: Arkham City, and Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime. I'll probably get them but not likely right away. Final Fantasy XIV(PS3) and Guild Wars 2 also have my interest. Those are "wait and see" purchases though.
