It's actually quite a list on my part:
Final Fantasy 6-9
Donkey Kong Country
Arcanum
Kotor
Prince of Persia triology (actually bought HD-collection today)
Super Mario World

These are the games I play for nostalic purposes. There are alot more old games I play, but that's more due to the fact that many are fun to play, even today.

KotOR, I played that game a lot when I was a bit younger.

Call of Duty 4... good times

Crash Bandicoot 3 (the best one!). I used to play it all the time when I was like 4

GTA: SA

Still the best, and it brings back some optimistic feelings and memories from my teens. Getting wasted while playing it with my buddies in my dorm room.

Golden Sun, because it was the first RPG I considered prefect, plus I was moving around alot when I was younger so I always had it with me. To this day I keep it in my DS's GBA slot and play it from time to time.

Sonic adventure 2 battle.

I don't care why, those Chao just need to be fed.
agreed, good sir! I feel like the gamecube was wholly underrated as a console.

Probably Halo 2, and I'm currently doing a nostalgia run of pokemon. Naming each pokemon after some god or mythical creature (mostly greek) and being way more particular about which ones I catch, too.

The old Crash Bandicoots.
The original Pokemon games sometimes.
Final Fantasy 7 and 8. Epic games.
Mostly Spyro the Dragon 1,2 & 3. I adored Spyro as a kid and still do today.

Lessee...

Turrican, Marathon, Quake 2 and Half-Life, I recently got the Archon demo off Steam (now THAT's some nostalgia)... um... currently replaying the Exile trilogy.

I should replay Cave Story again too, at some point.

Like other people have said Baldur's Gate 2. Probably my favourite game ever, although the games large modding community helps to keep each play through more interesting than just playing the Vanilla game every time.

when i get the nostalgic urge i go for one of these:
final fantasy 6 (the best final fantasy ever made)
final fantasy 9 (the game is packed so full of nostalgia it is more an homage to the series than its own game)
neverwinter nights (usually get this urge after i read a forgotten realms book)

Every year, during the inevitable gaming drought that is the Summer I will pop my Super Metroid cart into my still working SNES and 100% it. Then I try a speed run with sequence breaking, but usually get stuck when i can't remember how to do the speed ball glitch. :p

I'll also toss FFIII (aka VI) or Chrono Trigger in, but I tend to bore of them as I've played them to death.

I still play Gran Turismo II from time to time.

Obviously for me, it's Metal Gear Solid. But I do love a bit of Future Cop LAPD and Oddworld.

I've even found a bunch of old PS1 games. Currently playing through Felony 1179. I love the music in that game.

- Half Life 2, mainly because it helped me shape me as a gamer so incredibly much.

- Simcity 3000. Thanks to that game I got into jazz and it helped me learn how to spend money wisely. It was always so soothing to play after another day of dealing with bullies and uncaring teachers on primary school.

You know what, I'm going to install it right bloody now and play it.
