Try Audiosurf, I play it when I'm sick because it has a hypnotic effect if you use the right songs.
I've been sick the last couple days, so apparently I play Penumbra when I'm sick.

I don't have a PS3 but I heard Flower was pretty fun and relaxing. Me? Well I recently got sick and for some idea thought playing the Modern Warfare 2 veteran campaign was a good idea, even though I had only played the campaign on easy. This was the perfect stratedgy to make my soar throat even worse but I didn't die or have an adrenalin crash or anything.
For some reason I usually don't play games while sick =/. I tend to stay in bed or watch TV all day. Sometimes I play an MMO, like Imagine Online, cause I can just relax and talk to my ingame friends instead of doing any real gaming =P
Now that I think about it, I generally play classic (and occasionally not-so-classic) SNES games. You know, pop in Super Mario World and got through the whole thing, Link to the Past, etc. I think it's more relaxing and mindless than trying something that takes a lot of thinking. I once played Civ IV when I was pretty much the sickest I've ever been (massive fever, hospitalized at one point). My nation was just a colossal goat-fuck of a mess.
I usually play the "Puke in the toilet until I Pass out Behind It" game. It's really fun. But seriously, if you want to play a video game, try playing something that you can just doze off around, like the Freebuilding mode of Stronghold: Crusader. Just set the game up and go to sleep; the game can manage itself.
