What games do you suck at?

I personally do horribly with all the Bethesda RPG games
I've tried The Elder scrolls: Oblivion.
I've tried FallOut 3.
And I've tried Morrowind(most recent attempt).
I just can't play them. I don't understand what makes me do so horrible with them. My mind just doesn't quite meld with it like it does in other games(if you know what I mean)
Something inside my head just makes me want to take all the vases, plates, spoons and the like. I just couldn't resist in each game. And of course when I finally push down my urge to loot I get stuck on top of a tavern sign(in Morrowind).
I just can't play those games.

Madden... I've always sucked horribly at Madden, but I keep playing and keep trying. I've got the offense down now (after 4 years of trying... Damn you games for changing on me when I get close to getting good!)

But defense plagues me...

Same with FPS'... I'll be great one second then suck horribly the next. And I was once told, inconsistency is the same as sucking.

I have yet to get a single Gold Medal in Trials HD (XBox Live Arcade game) on a Hard Track. I can't even complete the Extreme Tracks let alone get a Silver Medal.

I suck mightily at Black Ops multiplayer. My reflexes are pretty lousy and I never seem to be looking in the right direction when some cunning sod pops up and blindsides me.

I think my average K/D is still negative. I did manage to get a chopper gunner once, but then the match ended before I could use it.

Beat 'em ups in general. I try learning combos, and get my ass handed to me. I try random button mashing, and get my ass handed to me. I try spamming power attacks, and get my ass handed to me. Unsurprisingly, I have little to no patience with this genre. The only one I was ever good at was Street Fighter 2 back in the 90s - I recently purchased this game from XBL and guess what? I got my ass handed to me.

Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Unfortunately, my older sister got all of the musical talent. I, however, lack even a basic sense of rhythm.

I'm pretty below average at most games.

Perhaps turn-based strategy I am above average, but thinking on my feet is certainly not one of my fortes.

On the plus side, I do pretty well as the vocals on Guitar Hero: World Tour xD

Most FPS's. I like to think that's only because I don't play them much though...
I'm the same. It also happens to be the genre of games all my friends prefer playing multiplayer so I usually just play anyway, I'm just about as good as the rest of them, we all suck just the same.

RTSs, all of them. I don't get how people can be so quick, I'm too easily distracted by little things, my mind doesn't comprehend that there may be things I need to react to, and I'm an idiot who can barely spell "strategy".
And multiplayer is dumb because whoever gets the most resources first wins. Very egregious in StarCraft with mineral expansions, but even frikkin Empire at War has it.

Though I suck at everything in multiplayer. Does a game exist that's fun even if you don't play it as religiously as the rest of the internet?

People people, I don't think we actually suck at video games. We say we suck because we get our asses kicked, but couldn't it be the fact that there's always going to be someone better at the game?

We're probably not as bad as we say we are. As with anything, practice makes perfect, we weren't born as gamers.

Bottom line, don't demoralize yourselves. If there's a desire to get better, then stick with it and you'll get good results sooner than you think.

i guess sportsgames. I just dont care about them so i dont have practical experience with them.
I can get along quite alright in some oldfashioned, california games styled ones. I tried to figure out one of dem football things once, didnt see what ever can be fun in too much ado about too little action.

RTSes. I enjoy them, I just almost never finish them. They either get too hard or just too damned long, and I'm generally not a fan of lowering difficulty.

Also modern sports games. I just don't like them in isometric. Kick-Off, Speedball, Brutal Sports, all good old classics on the Amiga, those I liked. But modern sports games just don't do it for me, I've barely even touched one.

RTS games. I like them a lot, and I've played soo many of them (SC2, Rise of Nations, Age of Empires-series, Dawn of War, the list goes on), but I'm just so terrible at them. I think I just really lack the ability to come up with tactics, nor do I feel like watchin all these movies online or read guides to learn. I really just prefer playing the game, instead of having people tell me for hours HOW to play it.
