I started playing video games when I was three. I had a Sega Genesis and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I've been hooked to this very day.

Oh man, I too started playing my brother's nes when I was like 3 or 4. I remember playing the wrestling games (I forget the title, the one with 'Star man') Fighting games still are one of my favorite genres, even though I'm pants at them.

I'm gonna date myself here but Galaga was my first and will always be my favorite. I have probably spent more money by putting it into Galaga machines than I'd care to admit. :]

That's the first ever wrestling game on the NES, back when they just used generic names like, Baseball, Tennis, and Kung Fu. It's called Pro Wrestling, and I loved it too.

My parents always used to buy my brother and I these demos for DOS games. I think the game that got me started was a demo of Commander Keen 6. We also enjoyed our demo of BioMenace and our full version of the original Maniac Mansion.

When we finally got an SNES, the game that got me really hooked was probably Goof Troop: the Game.

Mortal Kombat 2 on Genesis. I used to be soo good at those games. I hate to admit it, but I really suck at fighting games now.

I loved Zelda, but the King's Quest series is what really got me hooked. I started getting all those Sierra Online games.

Super Mario Bros, Dragon Warrior, and anyone remember the American Gladiators game for the NES? I loved that for some reason, though now I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Street Fighter 2

On the PC, old DOS games like Hugo's House of Horrors, Doom, Wolfenstein 3d, later Command & Conquer, Half-Life, Counter-Strike.

When I was 5 or so my older brother got a used gameboy for his birthday from a rich friend (who gave him it when he got the new pokemon yellow pickachu one) with it we lighted up with glee as a ping and the gameboy logo glowed on the screen. Soon after we got the original gameboy zelda, I must of beat it 15times until I found every quater heart, old guy shop and dungeon until it became about a weekly routine. We went off from there trading and buying used games every 2 weeks or so from the Hollywood Video across the street from the Albertson's(While our mother bought groceries.) So my game would be the original Legend of Zelda

Exactly. I also enjoyed Contra, when I played with my friend on co-op... Good times.

On PC - Smurphs, Jungle Book, Alladin xd. Then it was Arcade America, a lot of shareware games and then there was Diablo 2. One of the best games I've ever played.
