The first (non-arcade) video games I ever played were Paperboy and Ghostbusters on the NES at a friend's house. After that it was all over for me; I was doomed to gamerhood for all time...

I would say asteroids, but when I really realized my love for videogames was when I played the original Metroid for the first time.

The first game I ever played was Aladdin for the Genesis, but I really got hooked on gaming when I played Super Smash Bros for the first time on my friend's N64.

The good ol' Super Mario/Duck Hunt NES bundle. Have since played everything from Atari 2600 to PS3.

Thanks for the lifelong addiction, Grandpa.

First? Wolfenstein. Then the first Prince of Persia, then King's Quest 5, then Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis...and the rest is history...

The game that got me interested in games was the original Prince of Persias, the first and 2nd one. After that, I started sneaking gameplay on my cousin's NES, including Dragon Warrior, Mario Bros, and Castlevania.

Then I got a Genesis and it was all over. Addicted for life!
