What games have you missed in 2011 ?

Modern Warfare 3 - The first Modern Warfare was great, the third release of it however...

Battlefield 3 - Don't like Origin, not into contemporary shooters.

Batman Arkham City - Bad timing, with this, Skyrim, and Saints Row both coming out close together I had to make a tough choice.

Rage - If I want to play in a post-apocalypse game, I going to play Fallout (and after seeing the crap PC port coming from ID software of all places I'm glad I gave it a miss.)

Hard Reset - It's Steam Sale material.

Dead Island - After that haunting trailer everything else would be a let-down.

The Witcher 2 - Was actually going to get it but the shop I go to ran out of special editions so its Steam Sale buy.

Duke Nukem Forever - Was never going to live up to the hype.

Brink - I'll stick to TF2 thanks.

Bulletstorm - Thoughts while playing the demo "was this really done by People Can Fly?"

I didn't miss any games really. Every game I wanted, I bought. The only game I missed really was Dark Souls because I don't own a console.

Dead island , portal2,Duke nuken forever ( there's No such thing as ba publicity right?), deus ex , bastion , minecraft, saint row 3.

I was going to decide to buy MW3 or battle field 3 , but i got UMvC3 instead ,good decision if i do say so myself. I made the decision to buy every other CoD game , that way it won't get stale for me too fast , plus i prefered blackops to MW2 and since they are from different developpers i'll stick with the one i like.

The only games I have played this year that were released this year were Skyrim, Bastion, and From Dust. So I missed everything but those three.

Or rather I have bought all the games I was interested in. You could say I've 'missed' Saint's Row 3, but I would say that I have no interest in Saint's Row 3 and so haven't 'missed' anything. Although it is clear to me that my taste in games is not everyone's cup of tea - so far on the Escapists' 12 days of Christmas there are only three games I've bought, and of those three I was disappointed with two of them (BF3 for the neverending QTEs and Bastion for the bloody annoying narrator who's funny for the first five minutes but who you will want to muder after twenty).

So overall it's been a good year which has brought me such expected joys as Deus Ex, Skyrim, and - yes - MW3; but it's also had some pleasant surprises like Orcs Must Die! and From Dust.

The only game that I've missed this year that I've had an interest in is Skyrim and thats mainly due to a lack of funds, but I'm hoping that Santa is going to bring it for me for Christmas. If not then I will have to buy it in the new year. I may also buy Rage seeing as its gotten quite cheap now.

Batman: Arkham City (refuse to install Games for Windows Live)
Dead Island (waiting until it's cheap, as it's just Left 4 Dead: Borderlands Edition)
Duke Nukem Forever (I wouldn't touch this game, even if it was free)
Shogun 2 (not a strategy gamer)
Saint's Row 3 (waiting for it to be cheaper)

The games I missed are AC: revelations and Skyrim.

AssCreed I'm planning to get somewhere around June next year. Because my uncle had a PS3 and didn't do shit with it, he sold it to me with all his games, so I have to stroll through games like Heavy Rain, InFamous etc. And Mass Effect 3 of course.

As for Skyrim, I don't I will get it at all. Because I seriously think that my grades and social live will get blown to Oblivion.

I have no job and my parents refuse to have me purchase games rated M.
