They need to reboot the Tenchu franchise. Maybe sharpen up the dialogue and make the violence more realistic (brighter blood, open throats, etc). Oh, and make the enemies smarter. Not the kind of enemies that just look at a dead body for a couple minutes before going back to being unaware.

Digimon World 1: fine tune the graphics, maybe add some more of the new Digimon?

Pokemon Yellow: Make the graphics and game play like that of Pokemon SS/HG.

Half Life: Update the Graphics.

Halo CE/2: Graphics and Updates of reach? Hell it would be awesome! (but i can't see it coming *sniff*)

Oddworld for PS1: I loved them games, if they got a graphical update they would be even more awesome!

Starwars Galactic Battlegrounds: Graphical update and add some features like being able to rotate buildings?

Jurassic Park Operation Genesis: Graphical Update, And include new Dinosaurs and buildings.

War of the Monsters: Graphical Update, include new Monsters.

That's my list, can't see any of them happening though.

I think galarians ps1, parasite eve games need a sequel or remakes. Mercenaries 2 needs a overhaul. Any title that got left for dead by sony and microsoft that ended up on the psp. All the sequels of old games you've always wanted seem to go to that elephants graveyard.

Fallout New Vegas..... Zing!

Wish that game was finished....

Ok, on topic: The Baldur's Gate Series. Best Western RPG's of all time. Hell, best RPG's of all time full stop.

Need to be remade, and not in a 'hip' way, in a way which pays homage to the originals rather than sticking a younger, fresher face on it.

Baldurs Gate, Baldurs Gate 2 and Planescape Torment, keeping the graphics and just make it fully voiced with either D&D 3.5 or 4 ruleset. Only reason I've not been able to get into these games is becuase the AD&D ruleset is a pain in the butt.
Someone said this yesterday on another thread, but to have it on the DragonAge Origins engine. Could you imagine Baldurs gate//Icewind Dale with the DragonAge Origins engine! Holy crap! That would be its own personal renaissance. Keeping in mind that they didn't change the quests and could find roughly the same voice actors again.

Tachyon: The Fringe.

Bring it out of cult status, for goodness' sake. Novalogic's brainchild was the best space combat simulator ever made and had a kickass story to boot.

Earthbound for the 3DS. Don't update the graphics, don't add any extras, just remake the damn game so I can finally play it! While they're at it, why not the rest of the Mother series?

Master of Orion 2. Fresher graphics, keep the music. I loved that music! And remake Baldur's Gate with better graphics. Don't munchkinize it by changing the AD&D rules to D&D3.5 or 4e. That would be an abomination.

Legend of Dragoon.

Don't touch it it's perfect, the graphics just haven't aged well.
Maybe individual experiance instead of dividing 300XP per fight between your people. Levelling in the game could be one hell of a grind. Other than that, it was perfect.

X-Com: UFO Defense, with updated graphics and better physics (as much as I love the game, I'd like to see the end of buildings hovering in the air after a fusion missile strike obliterated the ground floor). Oh, and the ability to open a door without having to step through the doorway and get caught in the crossfire of a dozen mutons would be nice as well!

Sid Mier's Covert Action is another possibility, but that might just end up being a Splinter Cell rip-off.

Final Fantasy VII. Yeah, I know, never gonna happen and totally unoriginal. But I love to replay the game, but everytime I do, the dated graphics make it harder for me to get into it completely again... Always that nagging feeling of "damn, this game is old". I know, I sound like a graphics whore. It's not that I can't enjoy a game if it doesn't have top level graphics, but it does make it more difficult to really get immersed.

Besides, they'd make more money than they've made with the last 4 final fantasy's combined... In the end it's about the money, isn't it?

Resident Evil 2 and 3.

They did a remake of the first Resident Evil and it was awesome. In fact, by now they also should remake the remake.

And a whole bunch of old RPG. Like Fallout.

Second those two choices, even though they are making a new Parasite Eve for PSP called The 3rd Birthday.

First of all, Dungeon Keeper 2. Great game, terrible graphics and controls...it could use a full-on update.

Also, I'd like to see Banjo Kazooie remade, despite its graphics not being too bad. I don't know why...guess I'd like an updated game to replace the presence of that...other recent one.

Finally, despite it not being old, Condemned 2. Why, you ask? Well that game crapped out after half way, and effectively destroyed the otherwise potent franchise for the future. A remake could ret-con the latter half of the game and fix that.
