What games should I buy for my 360?

I have recently bought a Xbox 360 and wonder what games I should buy immediately and what games to maybe buy later.
It can be any kind of game as long as its not a JRPG.
The console came in a package with Fable 2 and Halo 3 so they dont need to be suggested. Thanks.

I recommend Bioshock, Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2. I have heard good things about Mass Effect also.

You should run to an online messageboard and ask them what games you should spend your money on.

Get Fallout 3. Probably one of the most fun RPGs on the system right now. Also, if you can wait a bit, get MW2 when it comes out. That will most likely be awesome.

Fallout 3, Hitman: Blood Money, Gears Of War 1&2, CoD4: MW, GTA:IV, Assassin's Creed and L4D. That would be my choice as all of these games are good.

You should get Red Faction: Guerrilla, CoD: WaW/4, and I found GTA IV quite enjoyable.

Why hasn't anyone suggested The Orange Box yet? For shame.
Get that. Get Prince of Persia. Get Perfect Dark Zero. Get some kind of sports/racing game that you can pick up and play a few games on. I recommend an NHL game.
