What games will you be playing to get through the slow summer months? - Chat With the Staff!

Well, I'm on a budget, so I won't be buying any new games for a while. I'll be playing L4D, TF2, possibly some CS:S, as well as making use of my G25 with GRID. I also intend to revisit some oldies and some games I never managed to get around to finishing (Beyond Good and Evil and B17: The Mighty 8th! being examples of each.)

Ah, well. If I fall back on an MMO, I suppose I'll try out some of the smaller ones. Maybe check out Warhammer, or EVE.

Try LotRO. With book 8 coming out soon there will be a complete raid again, so one of the biggest complaints will be gone. I will do LotRO too, adding some more to my 500+ hours.

I am not playing anything. I've been saving up books just for this summer. I've got exactly 12.339 pages to read this summer.

Heh, it's Winter over here, which means we Aussies spend more time indoors.

Incidentally, I will finally be able finish the Half Life 2 Episodes (played most of them at my friends' places). How I've hated owning a crappy computer all these years, but soon that's all about to change...

ill possibly buy my favorite game again (it went missing some years ago) Heroes of Might and Magic 3. hopefully the next content patch in wow will come out.

Resident Evil 5, Killzone 2 online, FF7 and possibly Uncharted: Drakes Fortune will be the games who will kill my time during the summer.

Probably some DW:Gundam 2, Half-Life 2, Garry's Mod, Painkiller, UT2004, UT3, lots of PC games since I'm getting a laptop that can actually run them, might buy some new PS3 games (possibly Prototype, Crash Commando, others). Oh, and Megaman Starforce 3 when that comes out.

I haven't played a good JRPG since Eternal Sonata came out, so I was thinking of getting my hands on Lost Odyssey and maybe Tales of Vesperia. Also contemplating doing a blind run of Majora's Mask, which I've yet to play but is supposed to be ridiculously hard to figure out on your own. Oh, and the XBLA remake of the first Monkey Island that's suppose to be released in July, since I've never really played the old-school Sierra adventure games.
Not to mention the huge backlog of games I've bought but have yet to finish (or even play in some cases), plus ongoing multiplayer games like TF2, L4D, and Halo 3.

My brother's friend just got a pair of DS Lites and all three Pokémon games. He gave Pearl and one DS to my brother and if I can get him to let me have Platinum that is what I'll be playing.

I'll also be playing Mass Effect (again), Assassin's Creed (again), maybe The Orange Box, most definitely Halo 3 and Halo Wars, maybe Grand Theft Auto IV, and likely FEAR 2.

Might also play through Super Mario Galaxy as Luigi and finally finish Metroid Prime 3.

I'll be playing the fun videogame spouse balancing act by trying to cancel out the anger caused by my wife seeing me hog the good computer with Team Fortress 2 by added games of Rock Band/Guitar Hero that she can join in on.

I do like how you have a "backlog of games" makes it seem you have a schedule to adhere to "look what is it and will it take more the five minutes, I must get all the achievements before lunch"

I do know what you mean though, I just got Bioshock and am loving it so that should keep me entertained, until bioshock two comes out

Finally getting the time to build my sexy $1500 gaming PC. Then having a ball with TF2, DoD, CS:S, L4D and CoH with mates. Oh, also gonna be playing Assassins Creed that a mate bought me for my birthday. :3

Oh, not much over here.

Just Call of Duty 4, Sins of a Solar Empire, World of Warcraft, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor and possibly Assassin's Creed. I might also have a shot at BloodRayne 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and if I can be bothered, play through Medal of Honor: Allied Assault again.

Yeah, I've got it all planned out.
