Max Payne and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if done right.Max Payne has been done but I honestly think that the movie was godawful and took nothing from the game's story so I don't count that as a movie based on a video game.
The way Max Payne ended left it pretty wide open for a sequel. He found out (in the movie) that his wife was affiliated with Aesir and Nicole Horn was still alive at the end. I think Mona was still alive at the end too. Gognitti was mentioned in a background image and he's my favorite character in the series. I swear to God though, if MP2 gets the green light I'm getting my ass to the west coast and trying out for that part.

Castlevania. Not a Metroid-vania kind either, that would translate into a 4 + hour mind bender (ya know what? That could work). What I originally envisioned though is a monster-mash kind of movie with a similar structure to Ghost Rider (plot-plot-boss fight-plot-boss fight2-plot-boss fight3-plot-final boss) Only with more bosses or, multi-boss fights.
Legend of Zelda but it shouldn't have the time-travel elements. Link should maintain his age (teen for an all-ages movie focused on teens and older, kid Link for an all-ages movie focused on kids and older). McGuffins for the movie should be between 4 and 6 to keep things streamlined. Probably 4 or maybe even 3 if only to make boss fights longer and at a high level of Awesome. Bosses other than Ganandorf should be recognizable like the fire dragon, A giant, one-eyed Skulltula and...shit, I dunno, a Giant Dodongo.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed but it should be a short (between 5 and 20 minutes) and based in the Old Republic. Not anything to do with the upcoming MMO either, I mean Old Republic as in...a movie about the battle between Ulic Quel-Droma and, Exar Kun.
Star Fox. Mix some Star Wars (original trilogy) with furries and there ya go. Also, make it nothing but vehicle battles and possible flash-back sequences of Fox, Falco and, others doing ground missions maybe.
That's what I've got so far.
