Toshiba do some good 'gaming' laptops. I have a Toshiba Satellite A660 1DW, and it runs most of the games I want it to, and works perfectly well for everything else I use it for (Word, Excel, Photoshop, Ableton Live etc.)
I recommend Toshiba highly.

Any specific model? Which do you use?

The A660 1DW, which is lower down the range. The A660 Range is brilliant and, I think at least, reasonably priced. Mine struggles with brand new graphics heavy games, but I am very happy with it.
