Myself and recently Metacritic.

And G4's recent "Review" of Other M welded the last Cordite Panel onto their Coffin.

I don't trust a particular review source, but I check the average scores from Gamespot, Machinima, and GameFAQs. The one source I don't trust is IGN.

G4 has always been wildly inaccurate, for me at least

The only people on the internet I trust all work for this website. However, not even they beat my own brain-eye-opinion generator machine.

Was that the one where the woman spends the entire time complaining that Samus isn't just a Bad Ass Action Grrl! through the entire thing?

OT: I listen to normal people who have played the game. I trust them more than people who may or may not be influenced by advertising revenue and spend day after day playing games they hate which burns them out and makes them overtly critical of other games. Not to mention that a lot of reviewers forget the most important aspect of a game when rating it-Is the game fun?

Its been Inaccurate many times for me as well.
I still watch X-Play because i love Adam, he really seams to be the only person on the show who genuinely loves video games.
As for Morgan Manjaw...as soon as i heard her voice in the Other M review i knew it was gonna be painful to listen too.
I hate her so much.
So im not sure if ill still be watching it or not.

Yes.
COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that outside of some bad cutscenes Samus is still kicking MASSIVE amounts of ass thought the entire game(this is going off of gameplay vids iv seen and talking to people who have actually played the game).
The entire review was written just to get a reaction out of the Grul Gamerz and Nintendo Trolls.
Hell one part she ranted on how Samus was taking orders from Adam.
WHY SHOULDN'T SHE!?
He may be her former CO but she looks to him as a father figure and really respects the guy, plus the whole mission is his so it would make sense for her to follow his orders.
And the ability to restore Energy and Ammo by recharging?
It only restores 1 E-Tank, and that's only when you are about to die, every other time it only restores a few missiles.
It makes a lot more sense to me than Health, Missile, and Map stations that are made to work with Samus's suit, even though they were made BY THE SPACE PIRATES themselves and put inside THEIR own bases.
Yes, i am a bit mad.

Yahtzee is the only person who's not some fucking pussy who's afraid of hurting a bad game's feelings
in all my years of looking I have never seen any other reviewer let mediocre get the thrashing they deserve

except Mirror's Edge.... I liked that game

No one but myself really. All the magazines are just sold out to the particular flagship of their console and the internet couldn't be any more useless with everybody just hating everything.

I tend to judge the reviewer at the time - that is, to use a fairly obvious example - I trust Yahtzee on many things, but as he doesn't like MMO's or RTS games very much, I don't pay much attention to negative scores he gives on them, or rather, I listen to the specific reasons. If it's a wafer thin, incomprehensible plot, fine. If it's complaining about having to micro units with no real personality whilst gathering generic unobtanium... well that's usually the point of an RTS game, and I already know I don't mind that. Often, reviewers will drop hints like this when they're reviewing the game that help me judge whether I think their opinion is relevant to me or not.

Gamersushi. It's a small site made by some Machinima making folk who have created a different way that they review games. They're giving them letter grades (F, D, C, B, A, and S) and actually give some really great points. They're the most relate-able guys I know which is a big deciding factor for me.

I generally put some stock in the reviews of PC Power Play, because they generally say the truth as in (paraphrasing here) Starcraft II isn't very innovative, there is nothing new in the game, the single-player is too short and poorly structured with too many time limited objectives, but we can't stop playing it. Plus decent hardware reviews, and they tend to like the same old Retro Games I do.

The Escapist's published two of my reviews. It therefore has two more awesome reviews on it than any other site. (except GameFAQs, which contains nine of my reviews but which has those reviews drowned out by a giant sea of Sturgeon's Law).

Nobody. I'll be the judge of how much I like a game, thank you kindly.

The only reason that I even bother watching video reviews is so I can see the game before it's out.

Yeah, sure, I would have saved myself some money if I listened to "professional" reviewers, but it's not like it even makes a difference. I live in Australia, where everything is quadruple the price it should be and I also would have missed out on a couple of gems I would have thoroughly enjoyed.

My friends, my past experiences with the series, and the official reviews on this site, in that order.
