While this ship has long since sailed, it would be interesting to see a Matrix game with a GTA-style engine. You jack in and complete missions, and the star rating is intact (i.e. 6 stars brings agents). I don't know, it still bugs me how such a cool movie (the first one, anyway) could bring about such ass games.

Well... Mario's already been done as RPG. As has Sonic... and it was glorious. How about Zelda? Metroid? Yes, I'm RPG-mad. Make an RPG out of everything! Oh, and Beyond Good and Evil 2 could totally make a bitchin' RPG.

I find this embarrassing, but Assassins Creed TBS (Total War-esque, only when you go into battle you go into assassination missions)

A Fallout RTS would be interesting, not a base building RTS, but a squad control RTS.
So, Fallout Tactics:BOS again, except good, and with a playable real-time mode?
I don't know, I haven't played Fallout Tactics:BoS.

I was thinking about BoS and Enclave squads fighting each other in different game modes like CTF, S&D and Conquest.

Mirrors Edge and Portal as a sandbox game. Combining both game elements would make an amazing way to explore a city

RTS of Gears of War - control either the COG or Locusts. Although it may turn out a bit like Halo wars.

God of War with Alex Mercer. Consume a God, gain their powers. 'Nuff Said.
Back on topic, a real Ratchet and Clank FPS. They have the First-person option in some of the games, but to have a real R&C FPS, complete with multiplayer (LOCAL and online) would be nothing short of amazing.

So basically a There Will Be Brawl game. Smart trying to rip off thier ideas and sell them as your own on the SAME site.
I've never even heard nor watched There Will Be Brawl, so you can hardly blame me.
I can accept you not seeing the videos but come on, they feature them once a month on the top of the home screen and are only a short scroll down on the right all the time.
However I am sorry for jumping to conclusions. You should check out the videos.

genre crossovers generally do tend to come out well if the designers are competent; castlevania:SOTN, warcraft 3, fallout3.

i want to see a survival/horror platformer. maybe add in shooter or brawler elements, but keep the focus on the survival/horror platforming. that would be fun to see.

I'd actually be fairly interested in an Elder Scrolls MMO, if it was done right. Errr, RPG to MMORPG does count, right?

OOoooOOOoh, Fallout 3. More games need to integrate the brilliant VATS mechanic. I think of it as kind of a hybrid, half-real/half-fake time system that would totally rock a traditional RPG (or JRPG). It's kind of an evolution of the legendary Active Battle System from Final Fantasy. Did you really wonder why this game is getting so much DLC? It works, that's why.

And was anyone else surprised at how well the Sonic franchise worked as an RPG in that recent DS Sonic game? Pleasantly surprised, I was.
