Most games, but particularly RPGs and some shooters' campaigns (I can more or less breeze through Halo 3 on legendary. Gears of War is a different story, though).

I enjoy most genres but the ones which i excel at are shooters (fps and 3rd person) and RTS.

Dont know why just after my 9 years of gaming i just seem to be above avergage in them and pick the up rather quickly.

I wouldn't say I excel at them, but I'm pretty good at hack-and-slashers like God of War and Bayonetta.

Racing games and fighting games are my specialty. I'm pretty well rounded in every genre, but out of my group of friends, those are the two genres I always beat them at.

Shooters I suppose. PLayed through most of them on the hardest difficulty, didn't have too much trouble. When I played the Reach Beta after not playing Halo 3 for a year, I destroyed on my first game.
RTS's, my strategy consists of:
Build up defense
O god, they look like they're rushing
O god they are!
Lose

Some RTS's and most FPS's. In particular, I'm amazing at guessing bullet drop, at least in BFBC2. Can't hit a moving target, but I can get a fucking headshot.
Sorry just had to say that your avatar is fantastic!
Anyway I consider myself the kind of person on FPS that is there so others can get 2/1 kill death ratio. I mean someone has to bear the burden. However, I am very good at FPS but only with a shotgun and/or traps. I have about a 5/1 KD ratio on maps that are not sniperfests.
I am also good at RPG's, and MMO's. RPG's because there is usually some cheap way to mess with people.(Fire mage on Guild Wars with ALL AoE attacks that require no line of sight=ownage, then ban) also because if their is a problem you can just grind to fix it or look at your skills and re-plan them. MMO's because people are dumb, and theres always ways to take advantage of stupidity.(Not like EvE heists or anything crazy though)
Yours is nice too, 2001 is a great movie.

I'm pretty darn good at shooters, first or third person. I'm also really good at music games except nobody cares about those anymore. Oh, and I'm pretty much the absolute best at Super Mario Bros 3. I've got around 750 extra lives and my score is as high as it can go.

Turn Based Tactical games, it's like a more complex chess in some ways and I do rather well in them.

Real Time Tactics like Full Spectrum Warrior, SOCOM: Tactical Strike, and DoW2. I vastly prefer real time tactics over RTS because I just feel there is a heavier sense of strategy involved as you have very limited resources and can't just "build" more troops at the drop of a hat.

Fighting games, mostly 2D. I'm no pro, but I am a very quick learner and can hold my own after a few hours of playing a character. I can learn multiple characters and get down their various nuances fairly quickly and dish out at least intermediate combos and what not. Although if I am challenged to a game of Dissidia, I will CRUSH you with almost any character....600 hours of play will make you good with anyone.

RPGs...I guess. I dunno if you can "excel" at an RPG, yea sure there are some tough ones out there, but unless it's an action RPG it's more down to exploiting enemy weaknesses and just general stats. It's not like say a Strategy RPG like FF Tactics or Fire Emblem where bother stats, skills, distance, position, and other aspects come into play and greatly affect how you play.

Shooters are ok I guess, but it really depends on the shooter in question.

Point and Click. My logic has been so warped over the years, my head now thinks up strange ways to use and combine everything...

Also RPGs I guess.

First and third person shooters are my shizzle. I'm also pretty damn good at RPGs where grinding isn't involved (and if it IS involved I probably wouldn't be playing it).

I want to say Strategy games, but the only ones I'm good at are Dawn of War 1 and it's expansions and the X-Com games, but even I can't come close to beating them on hardest difficulty, good god no.
