I really want to know. It's just something that I'm curious about.

Friends, family, religion? What gives you reason to get up in the morning?

Well, I like to help and care for people. Whether that's volunteering, donating food and clothes to the poor, taking care of my Husband and other family members that find themselves in need, whether financially or in need of a care-taker. I love being a 'domestic'. I suppose,... that's something. lol I'm not really sure. I just live my life in a way that makes me happiest. I kind of just go with it. ^_^

The thought that someday I'll wake up to see that society has collapsed and we'll then be living in a post-apocalyptic world.

My life is entirely for my family.

I would not screw around with it to harm them emotionally, mentally, physically.

I strive to do something more than what I'm doing now, and to be there to have awesome times with my friends.

I stood on a cliff contemplating suicide a while ago, and I realized that I might let down a lot of people. I still have a lot to do in life (whatever that is), and the village still needs their idiot.

I don't really think life has any sort of meaning. Certainly ascribing some sort of meaning to it can make it more enjoyable (though it can also make it much much less enjoyable if you forget that the meaning is just something you've ascribed, as opposed to something objective).

To that extent I try to find meaning through a Taoist take on things. As Lao Tzu says in the Tao, "Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity." So, I try to live a simple life (or at least a life as simple as a modern life can be), be there for others, and enjoy things as they are as much as I can.

Trying to make my life into something meaningful. Striving to make the most out of everyday and make myself better for it.

That's a rather interesting take on things. I like it.

Nothing. Until I fell in love with a girl. Then nothing again and I'm trying to make do with it.

My reason for getting up in the morning? I guess I hope to experience something new and exciting. It's not like that is going to happen just by hoping but sometimes, it happens when the opportunity presents itself by chance.

The thought that I'll may be able to do something amazing in the future.

I'm also a hopeless romantic, so, finding my true love and all that.

The thought that immortality might be realised in my lifetime, mainly because I don't like the idea that everything I ever achieve will be meaningless once I'm gone.

To clarify, if I die, the world no longer exists. So immortality or bust, until then hedonism!

I would like to get humanity as a whole a little better off than it is now if possibe. Vague outline of plan: work on Solar technology to get it running as an effective replacement for fossil fuels, not as much money wasted on fucking gas prices, things (hopefully) become cheaper because vehicles they are transported in no longer need the expensive gasoline, people have more money for things, rest of humanity maybe a little richer, more able to do as it wishes with newfound pocket change.

I am aware this may cause problems, so will (eventually) depleting oil supplies... or pretending to deplete them in the name of being greedy scumbags. Worth a shot, maybe.

Well, since you asked so nicely?

My religious beliefs give my life meaning. They give me something to strive for and work towards.

The chance to see my friends, make myself a little more awesome and maybe make it a little further with that little crush I have.

Things that make me turn back over and go to bed, night before drinking and lectures.

because i want to live, and if I dont, there would be quite a power struggle for leadership in my friends group.
