I don't really mind what genre, I play pretty much everything haha, thanks for the suggestion, I shall check it outAntari said:Warning : Old Gamer, and you didn't list a genre.
Chris Sawyer's Locomotion is a fairly unknown one. But a great game none the less. Its a more modern remake of the classic Transport Tycoon.
I've played all of those xbox 360 ones, The Darkness is a beautiful game, I can't wait for the sequel!kman123 said:360? The Darkness, Ninja Gaiden 2, Stranglehold, Crackdown.
PC? I'm currently playing through Max Payne 2 (on the hardest difficulty) and Dark Corners of the Earth, which I'm struggling through just because it's so damn scary.
From what i've seen of the sequel its looking pretty good, it continues on with the story like a good sequel should and well theres just too much to discuss about how good its looking hahakman123 said:Ditto on the can't wait for sequel...hopefully it can live up to the first one.Eythan said:I've played all of those xbox 360 ones, The Darkness is a beautiful game, I can't wait for the sequel!kman123 said:360? What is Dark Corners of the Earth? I haven't heard of it before (surprise surprise haha)
Umm it's a survival horror game, and it's a true blue horror. You're given barely any weapons (the first couple of levels have you stripped of ANY weapons) and it's fucking scary as hell. I recommend playing it to experience true terror...not that wishy washy 'Dead Space' stuff...which is a perfectly good game...just a perfectly shite HORROR game.
I had Nier, wasn't too bad, wasn't the greatest either thoughDJ_DEnM said:Nier is a good game if you're into Square Enix games.
If you can get over the titanic learning curve, deal with the ASCII graphics, and decipher the terrible UI, Dwarf Fortress can provide you with a truly unique experience and hours of entertainment (and frustration). Sure you need to dedicate a fair chunk of time to learning how to play it properly but it's a very rewarding game. And it's completely free, so no harm done if the game drives you crazy. Between learning the game and exploring all of it's feature it will certainly keep anyone occuipied for a long time.Eythan said:I want to find some new games to play (Xbox 360 and PC) but I want to play good games that people haven't heard of or at least haven't heard much of, can you guys give me some suggestions?![]()
