Granny's Garden and the Dizzy series (Treasure Island, Fantasy World) on C64. Granny's Garden was scary shit back then... For a 4 year old.

Super Mario Bros. and Pokemon that my Dad bought me. Funny how i never play Nintendo games now, and my dad's always telling me to stop playing games...

Gex, Return Fire, Killing Time and PO'ed are the ones I would say got me into gaming.

My old 3DO probably still works, now I feel like going and playing some more return fire.

Having my father bring home an N64 and bringing Star Wars: Podracer with it.

Played the Podracer game, man...I was hooked.

Went over to my grandpa's house in around 84 and he was playing Pac-man on the Atari. Been hooked since.

My college age brothers used to have me come clean their apartment in exchange for playing games (no video yet) on their Altair computer. I played Hunt the Wumpus. It still amazes me how scary a text game was. At 3 AM the text said "I smell a Wumpus" and I walked into the room instead of firing my arrow. "Oh no, you've been eaten by the Wumpus!" just about gave me a heart attack. To this day the smell of a Wumpus sends me running.

Is this a trick question?

Gaming has been a part of my life since before I can remember. My dad playing some super awesome Japanese plane game; which I sadly can't find, with me is my earliest memory.

My mom bought me an NES when I was 2 years old. Woo! Gaming provided me some of my earliest memories.

But it was my older step-brother who really cemented me as a gamer. I looked up to the guy and he spent a couple of hours a day on his SNES and 64.

My uncle started me off with the NES before I could talk or was potty trained. I remember Mario 1 and 3 (SMB3 is still one of my favorites), Skate or Die, Arch Rivals, and Ninja Gaiden being the ones I played the most.

And it just kept going from there. I currently have all three current-gen consoles plus a Dreamcast and N64 hooked up to my TV, and a computer that can run Crysis on max settings.

Wow that's a pretty sorry reason to like something.

That aside, what probably got me into gaming was when I was given a Commodore 64 (or an Atari, I no longer recall which was first) and a couple games. I was less than 5 at the time, and being a small child I ate them up like candy. (har har har)

Didn't take me long before I was playing all kinds of games and pretty much being a full-time gamer with a couple of part-time friends.

My mom got an NES off of her friend way back when I was 3-years-old. I played it with her, and on my own, and that's basically it. I've loved games ever since.
