I'm looking to ask my folks for a new graphics card for christmas (specifically so I can play Skyrim)

[I know my computer kinda stinks, I am looking into building a gaming computer, but just haven't dedicated the funds to it yet nor know where to start, so I guess for now I would just like to build it piece by piece]
My preferred price range for a graphics card is somewhere around $170. I also want it to be dualscreen compatible
I am also looking for a new power supply, probably a 500 watt. If you could recommend that too, that would be great~
