Lets see, my hair is a little shorter than your classic shag haircut. Ive been told when the wind blows my hair back I look like Edward Cullen from the movie twilight, and thats always a plus for catching the ladies.

OK, your young so obviously HAVE NO CLUE what you'd be getting yourself into. How long did it take to grow your hair that long? Do you even have the slightest idea the intense amount of work you'd need to CONSTANTLY put into your hair to not look like a hobo, eg rubbing it together teasing it and if you have super long hair your talking about a part time job put into your hair, even gay men would be appalled. Especially if you have straight hair. If you have the right hair for it it may just dread on its own. just go live in the desert and don't bathe for i dunno a year. They stink, they collect parasites, and only self righteous hippy dippy retards find it attractive. I mean if your into girls with hairy legs that wont let you eat meat than by all means flush your self respect down the drain.
OK, so in essence if you have naturally straight hair you are already doomed in your attempt. If your hair is naturally curly you may stand a chance of pulling it off.

I need to keep it short enough because I have some REALLY thick curls with a mind of their own. If I don't keep it short enough I can't gel it. I'll usually Faux-Hawk it though, but I need to use hair glue, otherwise my hair won't do what I want again.
I've got myself a mohawk. I love it. I rarely put it up though. I have straight, brown hair so I don't look like a retard with it either.

i've got long hair, down to my upper back....wear it in a bun at work, but in real life its either down or held back with a bandana, sometimes headband style, sometimes more biker style. oh, its striaght brown hair. it goes great with my bigass make-wolvy-wish-he-could-touch-this chops (check the avatar, it almost shows up there)
Generic short straight brown hair, with the exception of the front which is longer, and combed back/up... and also partly blond.
Story behind that is, I was using Clearasil, and when I rubbed my forehead with it, the alcohol from the Clearasil came into contact with the front of my hair, turning it blond.

16 Y/O and i have like umm, well long hair white tips to it my hair is like down to my neck at teh back (not quite shoulders) and long bangs put to the side but they do fall down sometimes, hard to explain when i try 
Neck length dark brown hair with a side fringe died blonde. I look like a generic emo-kid, but it's the style that suits me best, so I make do.
Volumunous (that had better be a word) strawberry blonde hair that reaches down to the base of my neck. It's gorgeous, to say the least.
