what happened to the Tau?!

I am new to 40k and i'm making a tau army, I planned it all out and have just checked the games workshop website and realised "where the hell have all the Tau units gone?!" I noticed that the pathfinders are gone, as are broadsides and krootoxes (krooti?) I had started a broadside team and was going to get some pathfinders and a krootox but now I can't finish the team or get a krootox.

So what's the deal? are these units no longer available? has this happened to other armies? is it something to do with the new rules? can i still use my broadside?

and above all, are they actually excluded or am I just being thick?

To me, that would be a good sign that an update is coming soon.

EDIT: On second thoughts, they could be coming out in finecast.

Could be one of 3 options.

They are either getting ready for an update, a model (appearance change) or have been put on the back burner.

Or it could be something else entirely.

Usually when something vanishes it's for an update or change in some way. I wouldn't worry just yet.
