Well I'm Sat here procrastinating from further work on my dissertation (Yes on new years day I'm THAT fucked). And my good ol' mums cooking ANOTHER Turkey! (She loves it) Not that I'm complaining I love Turkey.
My question is this however, assuming for the moment that like my Mum everyone who has turkey also cooks gammon and the turkey is about five to ten times bigger than can possibly be eating in a single meal...what happens with the left overs????
This is what happens with mine.
I take the sons privilege of picking at the scraps.
Cold meat and pickles {heaven}
I pick some more
Turkey curry {drool}

I admit the turkey curry may be a strange one but its great.
So what do you guys do??
And are you having another Turkey today?

I hate turkey. It's a dry, tasteless meat. Unless it's thinly sliced in a sandwich. Then it's wonderful.

Christmas: Turkey dinner
Boxing Day: Cold turkey sandwichs
27th: Turkey curry
28th: Turkey stir-fry

And that's it, we only got a small turkey this year, and it still fed 3 of us for 4 days. Seriouisly, if they bred more turkeys we'd have world hunger solved

The neighbor's dogs got to it before we did. My mom cried about the loss, but my dad just told us to get dressed. We ended up eating out at a Chinese restaurant. They sang us "Deck the Halls". It was the most memorable Christmas ever, and you know why?

I got the official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle I always wanted.

Too bad I almost shot my eye out.

I've never eaten turkey in my life.
You're not missing much, it's boring as hell. It's pretty much the same as chicken.

Give me a steak any day! :D
