My proudest moment will be Ascending in NetHack, without using exploration mode.
in comparison, nothing else I've done would be worth mentioning.
You are a hero to all men, what class did you do it with? Furthest I could make it was floor 14 with a Samurai. Hell majority of my character would be lucky to make it past the second floor. Nothing like a rock falling on your wizards head and killing him one square from the stairs up.

Destroying F-Zero GX. (Except for the staff ghosts, they are too far out there)
Yeah, fuck those guys. I mean I got all the Ax racers, I wasn't going to spend another few months on some fricking ghosts!
Also, you're good at F-zero Gx, that means you're cool.

Beating my mate Chris on Quake 2 at a LAN party. We played a mod called Instagib; everyone had the railgun only, and one hit kills. It was the only time I ever beat him in an FPS. The map was Q2DM1 The Edge. The frag limit was 50. We were both on 49, then I got the last one. Wootastic.

I have a lot of those moments, but my most recent was getting 32-0 in MW2 and ending with a nuke for the first time. Legit, no chopper gunner. Something I may never pull off again, but I am damn proud of it... too bad 360 won't screen shot tho.

Ironically enough, my proudest moment on gaming wasn't actually on a platform.

A group of friends and I were playing a mod for D&D that used guns instead of swords and magic, and in a mission we were on (escaping from a collapsing oil rig while being chased by zombies), and the characters were in a bad strait, low on hit points and with a horde of ravenous freaks clawing at their heels while they ran for their lives. In a stroke of luck, we found a mounted machine gun, and I heroically opted to man it and buy the other PCs some time.

I need a 10 or more on a 20-sided dice to be able to hurt the zombies. With 20 shots, every time I managed to damage them, and in a single round managed to mow down a grand total of 18 zombies. The very next turn I rolled 3 natural 20s in a row. We actually stopped play to work out the odds, and the chances of it happening turned out be 1 in 16.777 BILLION.
WRONG. While your story is excellent, your math is terrible. Your math is deeply flawed, and I won't even attempt to correct it.

A very broke lad, durring summer after my time swimming I found you can beat the NES metroid with only killing one boss (freeze a flying bug, then bomb up in the bridge/statue room)

And then beating The original Zelda both quests with no sword, no rings.

Then saying wow...my summer really is boring...

My proudest moment is, and always will be, beating God of war 2 on the Titan (Very Hard) difficulty. I died a total of 310 times, and almost broke my controller, and by the time I reached that part where you bring the titans back to the present day, I felt like I had run a marathon around the world.

There's a battle towards the beginning of Xenosaga Episode 1, against Commander Margulis. You are supposed to lose it, but I didn't realize that at the time. He's extremely powerful and fast with tons more HP than any other foe for quite a while, but never a one shot kill for Ziggy so long as Momo heals him every turn. I managed to win on my very first attempt, without even realizing until later that it was a supposedly 'hopeless' battle. Sadly, you don't get any special reward for doing so.

If you had known, then you'd be forgiven for thinking nearly every boss battle in the 2nd half of the game is a hopeless one.

Oh, and today I defeated Title Defense Sandman in Punch-Out, wherein he nearly copies the moveset of the original NES game's legendarily hard Mike Tyson.

This isn't my proudest moment, but as an Engineer in TF2, I had 120 teleports off the same entrance. I did have to move up the exit a few times.

Thank you, Dustbowl.

For me it would have to be when I got the Laser sword for Dead Rising, you have to play 10 hours straight just to get it and I have tried 4 times before that, first time I played with my cousin a year or three ago and got to 4 day 23 hour 22 minutes and that is when it happened I tried to exit the foodcourt and the game froze on me, second time I got to 3 days 22 hours and 3 minutes, and I didn't pay attention and die from the health running out, 3rd time I got to 4 days 21 hours 22 minutes and I went into the food court thinking it was my first xbox not knowing that it was actually a glitch in the game and it froze again. the fourth try was almost exactly the same as the first and 3rd but after it happened I looked up online and found out about the glitch, then finally I was smart enough to avoid that room and then it happened I GOT THE LASER SWORD(Z Saber if you are a fan of MegaMan and think it should have been called that in the first place) so I let Zombies eat me in my proud moment and then I went to try out the story and there it was I had the Megabuster in my inventory, my MegaMan X suit on with my Jason hockey mask on as well(no mega man helmet) and in my hand the glorious sword after years of not trying again and days to months of anger blood and tears I got the Laser Sword I really hope you see this and reply good day and GOD SPEED!!!

In my rebellious youth I cracked a number of copy protection schemes on the Mac, back when they had 9" screens. The biggest baddest boss fight you can imagine is no match for the joy of changing a single bit, and watching program quietly boot up right past the spash screen and straight into the game.

Gotta be the time when I was playing Killing Floor on Hard difficulty.

I was in a full server and somehow everyone but me died about three minutes into the wave. We were on Wave 8 (a long game) and sure enough there were plenty of Flesh Pounds and Scrakes about.

I ended up surviving and everyone was very happy.
Same thing happened to me... don't mess with the guy packing 2 handcannons and the M14

My actual one was starcraft 2 a few nights back... was a 4v4 game, for some stupid reason the enemy team put every single unit they had on half of the map so it was divided roughly in half, most of it moble so we can't punch through.. So we build up 100+ supply armies, and open by dropping 2 nukes per choke-point and storm right through them.
Best part about it is the guy that said "Oh you have got to be f**king kidding me" right after the first set of nukes were launched.
