I started a vegetable garden this spring and the past week my plants are finally growing fruit. I check them every day and every time I see them getting bigger or seeing more appear it makes me smile. Can't wait to feast on those babies!

After two exams today, one of which was an utter bastard (fucking Edexcel), I really needed something to cheer me up. This did the trick.
I had to punch a hole in space and time to conteract how emasculatingly adorable this is.

Today was the last day in a 4-day course I was doing for a new qualification. There was an assessment at the end. I smashed it and beat out everybody else there with 87%.

Best part? 50 was a pass and that extra 37 acts as a buffer for the next part that I'll be doing this weekend. So instead of needing 73 of 123 I only need 62 (I still need to get 50% in the second part to pass regardless).

Weird, right? But I've had a crap week at work, was physically hurting everywhere by the middle of the day, felt kind of sickly, was frustrated with my bosses...and then it starts to rain while I'm working outside...and it just made me grin at the sky.
