Yeah theres the beuty of X-box you can't be booted like on PC, except in L4D that happened to me too, it took it a while to find a game and as soon as I joined I was kicked I didn't even do anything I picked up a weapon and next thing I knew someone started a vote to kick me and I was out, I didn't do anything I guess that prick REALLY wanted the assault rifle or something.sirdanrhodes said:

I get that most people here are referring to shooters, but thought I should drop some rage events from a mmorpg i used to play. No, it's not WoW.
People who join the party, but don't do anything to help, except standing close enough to get xp and loot. I have forgotten what it's called though, it was a while since I played online.
Parties that takes over another partys spawn point, well aware that the party had waited for spawn. This is acceptable in bossfights, but not in regular spawnpoints. KS is annoying, but when the archer (in this particular case) feels like blaming me for stealing the kill, when I obviously was first at it but still didn't get it, I RAGE. Then ofcourse, the little ass teleports to nearest town before I can defend myself, making everyone in the area think I was the ass. UGH.
Team mates that becomes pissed when you die, (maybe due to your frail little ranger being squashed under a warriors double hammers, with noone backing you up).
The glitch that make the enemy players seem to be way behind, and then you die because they hit you in the head with a sword.
Fortunatly the game I play is usually filled with nice people.

Before MW 2 ruined online multiplayer for me what pissed me off the most was when one person kept killing me OVER and OVER again, I felt like if that person was purposely chain killing me just to laugh at me and piss me off on purpose. Obviously Idk if he was but that's the sort of vibe I got from that person.
Lag. Oh dear lord the lag.
Also, people skip any single-player part of the game (eg. Campaign, tutorial) and jump right into multiplayerwithout any prior knowledge of game mechanics. As infrequently as it happens, when it does you'll be smashing in your keyboard when they're stuck on your team and asking you which button is shoot.

By far and away the thing that causes me to rage the most is host advantage.
MW2 is often utterly unplayable because of the lag.
Being from Ireland, I often have almost a second disadvantage due to the host always being in the States.
In a game where you die in a split second, it is insanely frustrating to pour bullets into a foe only to watch killcams where you didn't even fire off a shot.
You fire directly into someone, and on the killcam see they were two feet to the left and you looked like an idiot with no aim.

Lag. And whiners, especially WoW players who have a fit or tell people the dropped item is theirs and nobday else can have it. I purposely Need those items when somebody says that, even if I don't or can't use it.
lag is the main thing. Another thing though is playing in a game that is meant to have more than 2 people ... with only two people ... TF2 for example sucks with only 2 or 3 people >.>
That's never really happened to me. I always pick a survivor anyway since I'll be playing as both and it means I'm not stuck as the girl or the old guy(that goes for both L4D and L4D2)...
