What has recently disappointed you?

I realized some things:
1: Halo: Reach isn't coming out for another month and a half.
2: I don't have a job, so I have no extra income, in other words I've gotta save up the $20.00 I get every week in order to buy it (along with Bulletstorm, Monday Night Combat, and Dead Rising: Case Zero).
3: My computer is too shitty to run SC2, so even though I can afford it, I wouldn't be able to run it.
4: My XBox Live membership will be ending soon, so unless I have a job by that time (it's not till November at least), I won't be able to renew it for a short time. This one isn't so bad, but having to choose between online play for currently owned games, and getting new games, but not having online is hard for me (and before anyone says anything, no I don't mind paying for XBox Live, I think it is worth every cent).
In the end most of the things that disapoint me come from not having a job, guess I'll keep looking (I refuse to work in restaurants, and fast food places).

My new graphics card for some reason cant display Alien Swarm but it can do every other game I throw at it, kinda odd.
Infinite Space greatly dissapointed me. It started off a little slow, and the difficulty curve was ridiculous, but it got better getting further.
The last few hours before the endgame are incredible, but then it sort of just fizzles out. Shattered.

I'm disappointed with recent Final Fantasy games in general. Makes me wonder if they're even trying anymore, or if they just toss together some pretty colors and know it'll sell because it's part of the franchise. =( Enix, you ruined it.
Also, the movie Paranormal Activity. I kept hearing how awesome it was (especially for an indie film), and how sleep-with-the-lights-on-for-the-next-month, horrific-nightmare-inducingly scary it was.
I watched it.
I kept waiting for it to get scary.
It kindda did... then it ended 3 minutes later. =/ I felt bad for even renting it.

Disappointed in Starcraft 2 even though I didn't buy it. Gave it a go at a friends place and found it was pretty much the same with just some unit changes and abilities that I didn't find that interesting. I actually prefer some of the original weapons like the fire bat and vulture, they were the shit.

For one, girls don't hate you, why would they hate you? I hate to bring up this old phrase but there are many fish in the sea, all of them very different. So if you have had any bad experiences, don't let it get you down because that won't solve anything.
Two, your chubby, many people are, I used to be. I tried to find a way to slowly lose weight because I wasn't exactly motivated enough to just go to the gym or jog around the block. I eventually lost weight buy eating less and moving around more, I like walking so that played a big part.
Three, don't kill yourself, it's no solution, everyone deserves to find happiness. You need to find a way to build up your confidence. It's fucking hard but there is always a way, you need to put some effort in.
That's what I used to think as well but I now think they've just lost it, probably forgot to make games that would appeal to them.ZacktheWolf said:
